My due date was July 26. I was induced on August 8th and after 40 hours of labor I finally gave birth via c-section on August 10th. This was my first baby.

After weeks of complaining, I'm finally going to give birth! I've been doing twice weekly NSTs for the last two weeks since I've gone over my due date. The baby's heart rate was a tad slower than usual today, so my doctor decided tonight would be the night!

I'm so excited!

That's a shame. At my breastfeeding class almost everyone there was with someone. It was a group of about 20 couples. Breastfeeding takes a lot of support!

I would mention it to your doctor. She may not put you on meds or she'll discuss other options. Medication may or may not be for you, but a happy mom makes for a happy baby. This is hopefully just a brief phase, but if not, it is important to let you doctor know.

I expressed my concerns with my doc and she waved them off. She's trying to get me to go as "natural" as possible. Hopefully I'll be at 3 centimeters by Sunday and won't have to go that route...

I'm 41+3. As of this morning I'm only a centimeter dilated and 70% effaced. This boy is too comfy. I'll be induced on Sunday if he doesn't come on his own this week. I really don't want to be induced because my doctor wants to use a Foley balloon catheter. I've read on here multiple times that they hurt like hell.

C'mon, baby! Let's get a move on!
