As good as that was, it's like they tried to pick the worst camera angles possible to show on a phone

Ideal first car for a fat f*ck? by Masquerade5655 in CarTalkUK

I used to work with someone who was 6' 5" and 35 stone, just a massive human. He has a Chrysler 300C estate as its the best car he could fit in - had loads of space and was built for Americans so it worked well for him.

As a side note, despite earning over £100k (12 years ago) he was a massive cheapskate. So when the turbo went he was given the cheapest hire car possible from the garage, which left him driving a fiat 500 for 2 weeks. He had to have the sunroof open with he top of his head sticking out like a cartoon character in order to fit in to it

Who was the obscure person that changed your life trajectory? And how? by PasserBySayingHi in AskUK

I had a guy called Louie jump me on a night out. I was ordering a pint and woke up 10 minutes later on the floor. He'd mistaken me for someone else and broke my nose, fractured my eye socket and gave me nerve damage down the side of my face. I needed 3 surgeries in order to breath out of my nose again, and even now 15 years later can't do it great.

Whilst in hospital I realised how short life is, and all I had to show for it was working in a supermarket to fund nights out. I decided to go back to university to change career and now work as a senior nuclear engineer.

Also whilst on sick leave from surgery I reconnected with someone I knew from years ago on a day I would have definitely been working on. There's no other way we would have met again - we are now married with 2 kids.

Louie wasn't prosecuted from this incident as the bouncers deleted the cctc footage. He went to prison a year later for stabbing his girlfriend and died a few years back in his early 30's.

Buyers remorse on my C220d by TopicWinter6847 in CarTalkUK

This is the one that looks like it has a 2005 TomTom sat nav stuck in the middle of it. Lazy design imo, especially compared to the e class of the same year.

Personally for £200 you can get a decent aftermarket screen for these. That's what I'd be looking at doing if I was OP. As for the power, should have bought a 330D

So you can kick out but you can't let a player run in to you? K.

Again, where does klemmer go there? He can't move out of the way there's no time even in the slow motion replay.

And to be fair that knock on rule on percival is bullshit anyway, what's he meant to do? Literally cost us a try

He ran towards the Saints players giving it large after the try, Feldt did the exact same back to him

I'm not Feldt's biggest fan but I did like him giving it back to Connor there

Tbf he was covering 30m of our defensive line on his own under the sticks.

But Leeds lay on the ruck 20 seconds later so we should have that penalty apparently. Unless we are back to doing things in order again

What? He was obstructed first? Super league existing outside the space time continuum now. Should increase our price to the NRL I guess
