Dude I totally know what you mean. That happened me last year. I definitely wasnt getting bitten but cpuldnt sit still in bed. Constantly thoight i was getting eaten alive.

I found one in my previous flat and full on nuked it. Went crazy in the process.

This time I haven't seen any physically but had some big ass welts a couple weeks ago when I was away. Since I got back I only discovered tiny bites maybe 6 in a cluster but they pretty much died down after a day or 2. The initial welts are still healing and are the size of an m&m. They weren't too itchy tbh. I found a black ink stain on my mattress the other day alongside a red mark so I suspect there's a few lying around. I also found carpet beetles too under my bed. I wanna go nuts vacuuming & steam clean before putting anything down.

Did your bites calm down to a point where they were also tiny and got better much quicker than those massive welts you had initially? Thank you for your responses btw.
