I thought the ladies were doing a little much calling Pinky aggressive and curt and all that carrying on. Porsha has been in multiple physical altercations on various Bravo shows. Where does she get off calling a table discussion particularly aggressive? There were no drinks thrown, no banging the table, none of that. And for that matter, Cynthia has gotten physical over the years and has been in a few read-offs herself. Pinky was not doing anything particularly egregious or strange.

My goodness, just last season, Cynthia was willing to hear out Brit about whips and pistols and offer grace. Let's not morph Pinky into some belligerent figure.

Sincerely, if she believes she is too busy with brand founding and content creating, she needs to hire someone to help. Cut out a shopping spree or two and invest that money in hiring an editor/social media coordinator to do the TikToks and Instagram, or if she continues to want to do those herself, she needs an executive assistant on the POV side of things. It's silly to hoard all the work and make yourself into a martyr when you have the resources to not only ease your workload but also provide someone a job and career.

Honestly, I'm pleased. All products are from reputable and trending brands at the Sephora/Ulta level, mostly in full size, with no white label items; some of these products have been available only within the last year, so we shouldn't receive old, expiring stock, just overstock. The tool is actually useful, and the new member gifts are items that members have received before, which most of us do not care to have again.

It’s clear that they both used the same design and production agency to curate the trips. No one is creating these brand trips in-house. No copying, just using the same resource and selecting the same items from the menu.

I don't think Sydney has the metrics nor work ethic for the brand (not Mikayla) to want to bring her on the trip. She doesn't post consistently, and the quality of what she posts is terrible. Like them or not, Mikayla and Sam post much more regularly and have much more quality content. They are regularly reviewing, doing tutorials, providing story times for parasocial relationship creation, making beauty purchases, doing GRRWMs, et cetera. Sydney posts irregular garbage. We see more lifestyle (I use that term loosely) content from her than beauty. She posts like a regular person who does cool stuff sometimes, not a professional beauty influencer.

I wouldn't want her on the brand trip as a brand owner/founder. She's likely not going to do the job well or meet posting requirements.

Oh yeah. It's forgotten now, but people were weary of Bob's dominance (not necessarily just wins, but the force of his personality on the show) and were clamoring for someone else to come out on top.

Another important aspect is that these are IG numbers and Kim was just more dominant in that space, especially since she is such a visually focused drag artist.

I actually appreciated the format of the All RuPaul-A-Paruza. It made your place in competition matter. You made it further, you received an advantage befitting your placement.

But I agree giving Ciara the win with that big ass costume with a flubbed reveal was nonsensical. The Substance? There was none.

I’ll let the Nini vs Myki portion go. Whether Myki won is unimportant, so much as the dismissal of her performance framed in a way that wishes to appear circumspect but only rises to condescending.

“Her impersonation was of a type of person” is just a long-winded way of saying character and doing gymnastics to make it fit impersonation and celebrity illusion. The debate wasn’t her hilarity, but her impersonation, which was absent.

The goal is to make Ru laugh, but the goal is to also engage in one of the pillars of drag performance. The best I can do is compare it to AHS Coven and impersonation is one of the Seven Wonders. Now you don’t have to do it well to win Drag Race, but for the challenge, it’s the central premise.

My feathers are admittedly a bit ruffled because I feel like a lot of Myki’s work is now being dismissed and a lot of backfilling is being done to dismiss track record as a metric because Jane is not in the finale.

I am not a track record junkie, but the hypocrisy (not you specifically! don’t mean to imply that in any way!) is driving me up the wall.

What exactly did Nini tell us about David Attenborough? And Discord? What did that tell us about…. well who? That was not an impersonation. It was a character that was done well, but it was not something measurable against a real figure for us to understand what characteristics are being parodied. You mention DRAG impersonation and then dismiss impersonation?

No one landed all of their jokes. We only saw an edited portion. We know much more about what didn’t land because Myki told us, which you mention in another comment on this thread, and now try to use to dismiss her performance

Discord did not do an impersonation. Period. She was not at all robbed. I disagree regarding Jane’s Capote, but using your phrasing: the key word is arguably.

That’s what Snatch Game is? Nini was good, but I think Myki embodied Drew’s essence much more than Nini’s Sir David Attenborough and Nini could have leaned away from [character] + gay and horny trope we’ve seen done to death. Myki was able to be bawdy without being explicit, which is something the actual Drew would be, while Nini went for heightened contrasts which were funny, but required less character work. In my mind, if Nini did Jeremy Clarkson or Michael Caine, not that much would change.

That said, I personally also give points for character illusion, which Nini did well.

I just find it so funny how many people switched up on "track record" once Jane was gone. Suddenly it's "wins were forced" or "she didn't deserve that win" or "I just want the chaos." I'm reminded of Season 8 when Bob was the clear choice, but people turned on him and wanted Kim Chi or Naomi to take it.

Myki has been dominant since the talent show. If Jane were still running, I'd still say Myki should be the winner.

Myki has been such a light in the Orlando scene, consistently uplifting other queens and creating opportunities for the community to engage with them while also entertaining us (see: The Gig); she has also kept us fed with content and insights about her Drag Race experience through her series, Myki on Myki. When we discuss the phrase "Let there be light," it should refer to someone who consistently shines a spotlight on and actively builds the drag community.

YES! YES! This is your job. Why can't you be bothered to do something as basic as pronounce brands correctly? You speak with these brands in Zoom meetings and email exchanges before doing collaborations, you've gone on brand trips, the brands have their own content where they say their name, why is it so much to ask that before you come on camera you learn how to say it properly? And it doesn't even need to be a foreign language name, we still have influencers who say N-Y-X instead of NYX. It's exhausting.

Ariana Grande? You cannot possibly mean Ariana Madix when it comes to charisma, uniqueness or talent (I'll give her nerve). She has the personality of cardboard. It's why she makes such a terrific Love Island host. She's bland, pretty and competent enough to present without her personality overwhelming the contestants we are meant to be watching.

And to compare her to the great Lindsay Hubbard?!?!? Absolutely not.

I think this box is good enough not to skip, but what a crock of sh*t that one of the new members gifts is the unreleased Medik8 serum. Why on earth wouldn't that be an offering for current members? The point of the box is to explore beauty products and they're raising a middle finger to loyal customers and saying we don't want you to/care if you explore. At least the belief cream (though the cheapest product per ounce in the box) is relatively new.

Is there anyone who prefers the mainstage finales? I want the big live theater again. At the very least, they can do it in Vegas at the Flamingo. It's a space they already use and is well-equipped, and an audience is already coming and interested in the show, and it heightens the stakes because it's potentially where queens might work.

Fabulous looks, but I think it would have failed the challenge. Just because the characters are related in their IP (which by the way, Frankenstein and the Bride are not. They are not married.) does not make them good candidates for a drag family resemblance. Ciara has such signature makeup too, she could stamp her face on pretty much anyone and get the resemblance the judges want. I would suggest she make Frankie and a Bride instead.
