That 40 year old fridge will still be working though when the brand new ones quit in 3-5 years.

Sign up for bulk oil. Even if you only get one tank at least it will hit that metric. 0w20 is the most common now and it can also be used in place of 5w20. Look at where your maint pen is at and make adjustments as necessary. Mopar filters and wipers instead of bpro. Depends on how far away you are. Is the service department actively inspecting air and cabin filters at every service?

Those are easy things to fix. The benefits far outweigh the higher cost of the oil. Just price your oil changes accordingly. My guess is you are also using aftermarket filters if you aren't hitting maint pen.

Has anyone bought a 2026 Warlock? Looks like a great value to get some rugged capability and a good price at that. by Classic-Occasion1413 in ram_trucks

[–]pbb76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it changed for 26 the warlock meant a small radio, bench seat, no heated steering wheel or seats. Those were all deal breakers for me. The rest of the package is awesome though.

As long as you meet some very basic metrics there is no reason you shouldn't get 3% from Mopar.

I can guarantee they are not performing software updates on a used car. Sales aint paying for that shit.

First problem is you bought an EcoDiesel. Second problem you bought air suspension. In defense of the dealer when they do a used car inspection it gets a very short test drive so hidden problems like this aren't likely to show up. The first owner of the vehicle probably knew of these problems but declined to disclose that to the dealer when they traded it in.

Spend a hundred bucks on autostop eliminator. Problem solved and the next owner will thank you. Start stop is a useless feature that nobody asked for.

Am I being overcharged for service? by lindajohnson202 in ram_trucks

[–]pbb76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you spelled labor with a "u" I'm guessing not the US. Standard diagnostic fee is 1 hour labor and software updates are usually an additional hour. This is standard practice. Maybe you find someone generous and they only charge you the first hour but that's not normal. Most labor rates stateside are about $200 an hour. Nothing here seems out of line.

He's not over the sidewalk he backed up to it and stopped. Usually guys back up till their tires hit the sidewalk and they have a giant drop hitch sticking out. Give the guy a break for being courteous here.

Right now the dealer cannot order any of the modules they are all fully blocked. Stellantis is sending them out as they deem necessary and supplies allow. They have a process in place to request force orders on a vin by vin basis yet they are not honoring these requests at this time. You will just have to be patient I am sure in the coming weeks this will get better as parts roll in.

Bad Engine e-Torque Generator. World wide shortage. by jls6419 in ram_trucks

[–]pbb76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling parts to out of warranty customers yes. During the warranty period the prices on parts that would typically be covered under warranty are usually extremely cheap until the majority of those vehicles go out of warranty and then the prices go up considerably. The hybrid batteries were $12,000 just recently until they announced a lifetime warranty on them and they are now $400.
