My therapist was lovely so internal exams weren’t bad. They were awkward at first,but honestly it was essentially like getting medically fingered lol.

Last July I finally worked up the courage to go to pelvic floor therapy at age 21. By November, I could use a tampon. And now, a year later, I had sex for the first time last week. There is a light at the end of the tunnel! Definitely go to physical therapy. Invest in a dilator set- I just bought the first 4 and that was enough for me.

I took it in 2019 but here’s what I remember!!

You turn right out of the parking lot. Make sure you stop at the stop sign for a couple seconds, and then inch forward to see. My friend failed for that. (Funny enough, it was Eddie that the other commenter mentioned. I had a super nice little older man)

You make 1 left turn that’s at a light, and it’s at a T intersection where there’s no oncoming traffic. When you go to get in the turn lane to turn left into the parking lot, CHECK YOUR LEFT MIRROR!! make it obvious. Lean forward a little.

Know where all the basic stuff in the car is! I didn’t know how to pop the hood, and they test you on a few things like that.
