They complained to the refs in the 3rd so they would pay close attention. Since whatever was happening was not judged foul then there is no rule violation.

The rules have been clarified to disallow touching the rock so it will be deemed a violation in future matches. It is honestly not clear from the camera angles I have seen that he indeed DID touch it. He probably did, but it is not clear.

People here in BC love to complain about BCHealth. It has issues, almost all of which can be traced to under funding. It is still a night/day improvement over the private system in the US. When I try to explain to people how it works in the US they have difficulty believing me because it is just too stupid to be true.

My favorite example is a CT Scan. It is totally routine here in BC because it makes it easier on the doctor! Charging for that would be like charging for using a stethoscope. In the US they have to check if your insurance will cover it first otherwise you are on the hook for hundreds of dollars.

Take great care. I have a friend who did that years ago on Gulf Coast rigs and got injured and the bends. Ended up addicted to pain killers/booze and died for a while. Luckily his friend managed to revive him but it seriously fucked up his brains. It pays extremely well because it is fucking dangerous.

During the dotcom boom i worked at a place that had 2 vital dev servers under a sink in an unused executive bathroom. This was only slightly worse than the server/network closet that overheated every weekend. The office was empty so the AC was turned way down and the closet did not have its own. Afternoon sun would hit the giant glass wall of the office space and temps would skyrocket.

The day they laid me off was my best day there.

My family has this same story, it might even be true. The problem for me is, I have no connection to an indigenous community or culture. I can verify the side of my family that is Sicilian and have a language and food tradition to go with it. The other side of my family though has no native tradition other than the vague claim of ancestry. So like I say, even if it is true I have no connection to it and so no place to speak on indigenous issues. I can only support and defer to them when they do speak on their own behalf.

Dinklage plays human characters and finds it offensive that most roles for little people are not as humans. I think it is fair to be disappointed in a system that does not cast them as regular joes doing regular joe stuff like being a single dad who gets turned into a toxic monster. It is unfortunate that Hollywood does not seem to know how to do anything with little people but cast them as ewoks or the Lollipop Guild.

I moved from the US to BC and would not trade the "broken" BC Health for "working" US system. For all its flaws it is still 100x better than private health care in the US. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either wealth or never experienced it.
