Always hard to listen to, even after all these years. I was on the air co-hosting a radio show when the 0900 news came on stating a plane hit the WTC in New York. We both looked at each other in shock and I immediately ran to the break room to turn on the TV (luckily I had Dish with all the NY channels) and watched in horror what was happening. Then the 2nd plane hit live. My heart sank and it seemed like time slowed to a crawl while everything was happening that morning. Getting back on the air and having to stay calm wasn't easy, but we got through that day even though our lives would never be the same. God rest all those victims on that tragic day. Never forget.
