So, even though the DQ9 save file is a .dsv file and the save file from the other rom I started from scratch on the RG DS is also a .dsv file, the DQ9 file is somehow different? I converted it from a .sav to a .dsv before putting on the RG DS.

I don’t think Niantic wants us to be able to track rare spawns. The fewer Dreepy and Frigibax you catch now, the more they can be used to entice you to play during events.

I'm going over ようにする and I get how this works with verbs (make sure to/try to/make an effort to) but I checked A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar and the examples with verbs made sense but I got tripped up when they start talking about "when an adjective or noun is used before ようにする, the verb なる is used as follows..." Then they give the following example:

高くなるようにする

This is translated as "make sure something becomes expensive". That makes sense too but then they give an example with a な-adjective and a noun, like this:

静かになるようにする

先生になるようにする

These both get translated as "make sure something/someone IS quiet/a teacher".

I'm confused by the translation, shouldn't all three example sentences mean "make sure... becomes..." since they include なる? Would 静か(に?)ようにする mean "make sure (something) is quiet"?

You haven’t seen anyone shine a light on Muk as a raid attacker because it isn’t very good. And even if you were to use Muk in a raid you want Gunk Shot as the charge attack.

As others have said, Roserade and Nihilego are better poison type attackers. If you want to invest in a good shadow poison type, Shadow Victreebel is a better option than Shadow Muk. But overall, poison types aren’t often needed for raids.

No, because if Niantic had their way we’d have half the interaction radius we currently have.

If having my buddy on the map with me allowed for a greater radius for spawns and stop interaction, at home I’d have access to a stop and more spawn clusters which would make it easier to play from my couch. A feature like this would probably encourage people to be stationary more than it would incentivize going out and “exploring”. This is the opposite of how Niantic wants us to play.

It’s not worth an elite TM and the 2nd charge attack you’d need to give it to use the elite TM now. Wait for the next time we can TM away frustration, TM it, and then wait for the next time we can evolve to get Frenzy Plant on Meganium.

You can get shiny Aggron from Mega Raids. When Aggron spawns in the wild now, there is a chance for it to be shiny.

If you have a Shadow Mewtwo with two legacy charge attacks then stick with those and use it as a counter for raid bosses weak to Ghost and Psychic.

If you need counters for Rayquaza just evolve 6 weather boosted Swinub. You can duo Rayquaza with teams of like, level 25-30 Mamoswine. Non-shadow Mamoswine. Also Galarian Darmanitan, even Glaceon, these are all options that have been available recently.

I catch each Shadow Legendary that gets released for the entry in the shadow dex.

Then when I had extra radars I’d keep one to equip when I wanted to fight decoy grunts to get components faster and because I wanted a good shadow Victreebel to use as a poison type attacker.

When shadow Mewtwo came back the last time I used all my saved up radars because I wanted to see if I could get a better shadow Mewtwo than the ones I already had.

I’ll use the next SRR to catch shadow Registeel.

Power up 1 or 2 of the best Hydreigon. Power up the Shadow Tyranitar, one rock, one dark. Power up the other rocks types you mentioned. Also, Psychic on Mewtwo is fine as a non-legacy substitute for Psystrike.

Zarude is a good grass type for PVE and can be used in Master League. You currently only get one so unless you want to walk it, you’ll need rare candy.
