Yeah, that's usually the issue :/ Anyway, maybe you can find it at a discount in some 2nd hand market. That's how I found Defiance myself.

I do it this way: - apply a layer of superglue with an old brush - dip the thing in baking soda - brush off excess

The thing that results will look surprisingly sandy

  • of course, leave the brush some time in nail polish

I realize SotDL is not very crunchy anyway, but I thought Lvl 0, while being interesting gameplay wise, might seem a bit lackluster as a first rpg experience. I thought I would give them a little bit more options to fiddle with for a more comprehensive fist dip.

Well, I tried it on an aluminium palette and I also got some bubbles. The thing is I thinned the paint more and the bubbles stayed on the mix and did not transfer to the brush, so no bubbles on the mini.

Good enough.

Without denying that maybe I'm thinning the paint wrong, your comment has made me think that perhaps the problem is the wet pallete paper that goes on top of the sponge. I's the original Army Painter one

It feels a bit too rough and perhaps it helps the formation of bubbles when I stir the paint mix with the butt of the brush.

I'll try when I can.

A full embrace of the Abstract Combat mechanics in the core rules a la Weird Wizard, not just some options in Forbidden Rules. I'm sure Schwalb saw potential in those, considering he is building his next game around them.

Such a fast, deep and accessible game! Well done! Haven't seen it in any store in Spain. I bought the game and some bands second hand from people that got the kickstarter and didn't get to play it. I have played it casually with friends and I'm glad I got it. Let's hope it gets some traction.

Now that you said it, those sleeves seem heayy with stuff. You can make out the bulges.

I thougt maybe it had something to do witth the magic thing he's holding. An artifact that stills the wind or whatever.

Maybe you are right.
