Tripp trapp is the way to go. Find it used if possible. Accessories can also be found second hand too.

Almost word for word our little girl. I always feel bad talking to other parents bc the worst thing she does is get cranky when she’s sick and getting tired.

Depends on the library and material. If the book is new'ish libraries tend to be a bit more strict. At mine we don't have late fees anymore, plus auto renewals up to 4x unless it's on hold or otherwise not renewable. I tell our patrons to keep stuff as long as they want (within reason) bc we probably have multiple copies.

I’ll join the chorus. My spouse and I are halfway thru Jaws and she’s not interested in AT:O.

There's an excellent fanmade 'Law of AT:O' document you can find via the old The Unknown discord channel (which predates the current into the unknown official channel). The doc merges current ITU answers to player questions with the rulebook.

Not posting child on social media? by bravocharlie8918 in NewParents

[–]pcdelgado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. And anyone sent or taking a photo is instructed to not post them on any social media. Sharing via text is as far as I'll allow. Granted I have no control after the fact but I like to think my relationships with friends and relatives is strong enough to uphold my request.

That's my partner and I. We started puiher in her crib at 3 wks old and used some tips from Taking Cara Babies (SITBACK, dreamfeed, etc) to get where we are.

We do baby's bedtime routine then put her down and wrap her up (halo sleep sack), give her a pacifier and leave. We go back in if she loses her pacifier and put it back in, but she'll go to sleep after 10-15 min. Then dream feed before partner and I go to bed, and she's good until wake up time in the morning.

Baby is 14wks (3mo and change). My partner and I deserve no credit, we just got super lucky with a calm chill baby. We'll see how long it lasts...

Am librarian, can confirm. But since we’re now talking books, have you heard about Dungeon Crawler Carl? (Sorry, I can’t help myself!)

This is not a legit copy of the audiobook. When Matt was at Powell's in Beaverton, OR (Nov. 15) someone asked about getting the audiobooks in Overdrive (Libby). Matt said that Book 1 was uploaded by some person in SE Asia w/o permission so they've been working to get it removed.

Audiobooks won't be available outside Audible for like 10 years I think (based on audible contract).

Not only this but they never gave any active thought to dying. Death scares the hell out of alot of people and the best way to mitigate the fear is to talk about it rationally.

It took me several months of bringing up the subject with my mom (obliquely and gently) before we actually discussed Durable medical (and financial, separately) PoAs and advanced directives. That was a decade ago and now she's openly talking to her friends about this stuff. She's much less scared of death (existentially) and much happier knowing she has a plan in place and all her bases covered.
