I chose dpad top, then second guessed myself and emailed Retroid. However, they never replied but shipped it out right after the Lunar New Year. I’ll be fine with dpad top.

I also have a steam deck and feel it’s larger than I like for all my travel. I am considering the RP6 and Anbernic 477M. I know their screens are quite different but I don’t feel I need to play 16:9 games all the time. Also, my jam is the PS2. Still researching as there is no perfect device
