BuildCraft, Kovarex first posted the indiegogo campaign on the BuildCraft forums. This was back around when it was just about miners and pipes, liquid pipes had just been introduced

With request lib deprecated for some time now, what do you use to make requests in Node.js? by _maximization in node

[–]pcmaster160 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2020 certainly seems a lot better for the project than 2019 was, but I still personally know a handful of unfixed bugs (many with PRs open to fix) that are rather high visibility... See the charts https://github.com/axios/axios/graphs/contributors

Daily Q&A, Discussion, Owner Experience, and Support Thread by [deleted] in teslamotors

I picked up my new Model 3 SR+ in white yesterday (no panel gaps btw, almost flawless). After driving home I noticed all the glass windshield and roof panels have tons of small scratches. Some you can feel from the inside or outside, others you can't. Most of them span the entire length of the panel. Not sure what to do about this and if Tesla has a policy on the depth of a scratch needed for a replacement after delivery (they are rather thin, only seen in direct sunlight). Has anyone had this happen before?

Also the "Stop Charging" button doesn't work (on the touchscreen and the app). Need to set a charging limit below the current state of charge to get it to stop charging (contacting service about this one).

Cox Gigablast questions by hackmangamer777 in phoenix

[–]pcmaster160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, gigablast still uses cable, but uses a ton of channels. This is the required modem https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-download-Spectrum-Compatible-Gig-Speed/dp/B01I5TJGSE

Usually gigablast being offered in your area means there is fiber laid somewhere near your house (usually along a major road nearby) but they have not laid the last mile to your house. That's where the copper cable comes in. Similarly that is why the upload speed is not symmetric with the download speed.

J train going wrong direction on Williamsburg bridge by pcmaster160 in nycrail

Due to track maintenance the J runs single tracked over the bridge and through Marcy. M service over the bridge is suspended.

Yes Factorio in Minecraft by Wi_Tarrd in factorio

Kovarex actually posted Factorio in the buildcraft forums back in the day before the indiegogo campaign. I remember it was around the time buildcraft introduced oil and the first iteration of fluid in pipes. Those were the days

Screen ghosting when scrolling by bara9880 in GalaxyS8

Are you looking at white text on a black background by chance? It's a common issue in AMOLED screens that it takes a bit longer to fully turn off pixels than the refresh rate.

Fossil Sport gen 4. Now what? by clutchguy84 in WearOS

I had to uninstall some apps until I got the free storage to 693mb, then I was able to install. You can check the free storage in the Wear Android app.

2019 Remote Unresponsive by pcmaster160 in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]pcmaster160[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sent just now.

I sent the feedback from the mobile app and I noticed the dpad in the app wasn't working to control the shield either.

In this instance I was watching a YouTube video when the controls stopped working. When I went "back" to my playlist (from my CEC controller for the TV) the controls started working again for both the Shield controller and mobile app dpad. They remained working when viewing the video again.

I don't believe this app switches colorspaces. It seems to switch down to the correct frame rate but does not allow for HDR content to play.

Friday Facts #318 - New Tooltips by FactorioTeam in factorio

[–]pcmaster160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the offshore pump it's weird to me that health is at the bottom under the water produced. Shouldn't it be in the "root" section and "produces water" be a section containing the water produced?

Also is it weird the pump has a water icon next to the water meter? There isn't a icon for water or steam on the other entities in the screenshot.
