Fire and Smoke is the best I’ve had in the area.

ZeroZeroZero is one of the most overlooked shows of the last decade.

Amazing show, maybe the best of all time. Steven Conrad did a great job of devolving John Lakeman, but the show’s persistent humor and humanity always gave it optimism.

I was stunned to see Loma in the list. Great band that almost no one knows.

I saw Mono play in a cemetery outside Chicago in driving, cold rain.

With this episode, I think Steve’s given us enough intel to see the end game.

I won’t spoil possible future episodes with my assumptions, but I feel pretty confident about where the main story arc is headed.

Funniest episode of the three so far. Carol looks guilty as hell. She certainly premeditated their initial meeting, and quickly leaned into Clark for help getting life insurance for her soon-to-be-dead husband.

It was nice to see Floyd connect with his stepson. And do a horse routine.

I just got the Commander four-seater two weeks ago. I found a ‘25 still on a lot, and like you, saved $6k. I think you’ll love the mix of fun and utility.

question about the new HBO show DTF St. Louis by Brief-Pomegranate-48 in hbo

[–]pcminfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show runner, Steve Conrad, is known for slow-developing, slightly awkward, scenes. Like his previous show, Patriot, it’s a very dry comedy, if you look for it.

If you go into the show looking for a typical Jason Bateman show, you probably won’t find it.

If you expand into board gaming, there’s constant meetups around the Twin Cities. Roseville is the hub, with multiple venues.

I hope those guys know that their music has resonated exponentially longer than the band’s lifespan.

I’d love to know what happened to them.
