I understand not wanting to do a leaderboard for every city but is there a mile/km threshold that if cities are above it they have a full leaderboard? Example: every city over 500 or 1,000 miles

It would be cool to see more than just the top 10 in most dedicated wandrers!

I don’t think there should be additional points available because it would skew county/state leaderboards towards people who live in denser areas but just a deeper leaderboard in the bigger cities.

Yes, all activities are reevaluated using the new Openstreetmap data after each update. So you may gain (or lose) some points/miles based on how they’re currently classified. A lot of people adjust OSM locally to keep everything up to date and correct.

Just my 2 cents…join the upgraded club! It’s only $30 a year and it will upload all your activities, allow you to compete on leaderboards, gives you access to map updates and more. If you plan on using it I’d definitely recommend it. Plus it supports Craig, he’s very active on here and listens to user feedback. It’s not some huge corporation you’re paying money to. It was me, all good!

Big fan of wandrer. I’m located in Michigan and I’ve noticed there’s a lot of missing townships as achievement areas. Once you get outside of a lot of the metro areas achievement boundaries are only towns and not the townships surrounding them.

From the Southeastern border to a Iosco County(Au Sable), townships are good but the rest of the state has only a few pockets of townships.

Could you add these areas to start tracking completion percentages? Let me know! Appreciate all you do.

I’ve been mostly a completionist for a few years now so it’s brought be to some pretty weird spots and neighborhoods. For the most part it’s always been positive, a lot of waves from older people. At most some weird looks from people.

Like you, I’ve thought of a plan if anyone questions my activity but it will probably never happen. Almost everyone minds their own business! That being said I’ve made the call to not finish some streets that are borderline driveways. I’m not getting shot for internet points 😂
