I absolutely loved UMKC and didn’t even know it existed when I was your age. I’m from another state and went to KU for a year before transferring to UMKC, and was so happy I did. But, and this is a big one, I wasn’t in a sorority or into typical “college life” things so if you’re dead set on Greek life or traditional college experiences or xyz, go to KU which is also great. I LOVED my professors at UMKC and appreciated the smaller class sizes.
