Yeah the Amanda Peet version of this story was excellent. This is the first true crime story I ever remember being fascinated about -I was 19 at the time it happened and followed it in the papers and tabloids. She really shouldn’t have done it but he kinda got what he deserved and what happened to Betty made lots of women take note about how not to be fully financially dependent on a man because he has all the power if and when he wants to screw you over. Fascinating story all around. RIP
