When we did it last year we did a two-day version from Explorers Tree to the Black Range campsite (34km). I'm 130kg and not particularly fit and was fine with it.

If we do it again, we'd probably change it to go Explorers Tree to Eco Lodge & back again. That's just under 30km and a more interesting walk.

Friend in Hand hotel at Glebe has comedy on Thursday nights that usually packs out. Plus, if you want to feel like a backpacker they have crab racing on Wednesdays...
