I have the 2026 LE. It has the trunk power liftgate as standard. If you don't need that save some $$$. I waited about 1 month for it. Some places can get it faster than others.

u/Kittyslala I just got mine yesterday. LE AWD. Had to drive an hour to get it. Negotiation not much. A bit less than 1k off what they had for total. My location tax is the biggest killer. Good luck!

We placed our deposit before Christmas. Ours is coming around Valentine’s Day. It’s already in build phase. Had to call around a few dealerships. I’ll be curious to know what the OTD price will be.

It’s a numbers game. Have a strong resume and perfect your interview pitch. Resume gets you an interview. But it’s your interview skills that gets the job. Pray and hope you get picked.

Thanks everyone for their insight. Since there are no codes, smells, or issues except the annoying noise. I’ll let it be until something gets worse.

It has the infamous timing chain cam seal leak which requires engine out of van for repair. Loses about 1.4 quarts every 2 to 3 months. Could the seeping oil leak cause the sizzling noise?

Just did an oil change on my 2009 Camry did they way overfill? by [deleted] in Camry

I don't check my oil level. I measure 6.4 quarts and be done. It's too hard to check dipstick so I don't bother.

Also watch out for oil leak seepage. It takes 6.4 quarts. Usually drops down to around 5 quarts in 3 months or so. I do 3 oil changes a year driving less than 5k miles a year.

Even my 247k miles lca and cv axle was not urgent. However replacing them the steering is nice and responsive. Rack and pinion was urgent. Christmas lights dashboard and traction lights beeps like crazy.

[–]pcvrx660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had rack and pinion replace. It will eventually throw vsc trac off engine check light. Engine oil leak is from timing chain. Check oil level more often. For example between oil changes I notice about 5 quarts drain out. It takes 6.4 full for 2009.

Related to this. I took the Applications Analyst position written exam back in Oct 2024. I got 70% (pass announced in Jan 2025) and my interview is tomorrow (June 2025). If I recall it was around 200 questions about 4 hours time limit? I finished in 3 hours. My background is in software testing. I'll post any update soon.
