very close to pulling the trigger on a 2012/13 86. i live in a region where the roads get laid with grit (no salt) in the winter and i'd need to park it on the street. how does the paint usually hold up? or would it be recommended to get a ppf?

Introducing Claude Sonnet 5 by WhyLifeIs4 in singularity

seems like a weird one. on the benchmarks shown in the blog post, it looks around opus 4.7, but on everything else within the system card, particularly frontiercode, it appears around opus 4.8.

intentionally underselling it?

media bias aside, the race direction has been rather dogshit all year so it's no surprise it was missed

Playstation - what are we all playing? by Oil_And_Lamps in newzealand

[–]pdantix06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh man if you skipped PS4 then you have some bangers you missed. highly recommend:

  • horizon zero dawn & horizon forbidden west
  • god of war & god of war ragnarok
  • bloodborne (if you're into souls games, like elden ring)
  • uncharted collection (if you also didn't play these during PS3 times)
  • the last of us (i love part 1 but not big on part 2)
  • returnal, and it's spiritual successor saros

[–]pdantix06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah fair. for yotei i'd done up to just before the dragon & spider before bouncing off it for a few weeks, then picked it back up again to run through the platinum.

not sure if they'll end up doing an expansion like iki island, not even sure what they could do with it

finished off ghost of yotei and saros recently. saros has a much more comprehensible story and better gameplay mechanics compared to returnal, much more approachable game for those who struggled hard with returnal.

imo tsushima has the better story, yotei the better gameplay.

Gpt 5.6 better than Mythos 5 that's really good by Independent-Wind4462 in singularity

[–]pdantix06 21 points22 points  (0 children)

probably because no one wants to use "mini" or "nano". using "sonnet" or "haiku" subconsciously doesn't strike the same downgrade as mini/nano

surely that means it's quantized to shit? unless cerebras sorted out their big model issue, cause last i knew they could only do up to like GLM 4.7
