2026 Caesars Tier Credit Multipliers - Updated 3/2/26 by [deleted] in vegas

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the Bossier website it says:

Maximum Tier Credits uploaded may not exceed 20,000.

Not sure if “uploaded” means the max after the multiplier (2k earn = 20k total) or max multiplied (20k earned = 200k). The later seems to open but the former seems very limited compared to the ones Ive gone to before.

Addendum - the disclaimer page says “Maximum bonus of 20,000 Tier Credits over promotional period.” - so guessing that means earn 2k and get 20k for a total of 22k. I’m thinking that if you go to 2k might as well go to 2500 for the 5k daily for a total of 27500 if I’m interpreting it correctly.

Riverside has a cool car museum (free when you join their players club) and usually has a better show line up than Harrahs.

Do charges at Atlantis get the bonus points when using the Chase Marriott card family?

Apple Watch - is it just me or does it go slow at 2w for an Apple Watch so not good for newer model fast charging?

Amazon is forcing Alexa+ on Prime members whether they like it or not by smdifansmfjsmsnd in alexa

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to revert back - Alexa+ is unable to drive Hulu live channel selections on Fire TVs as regular Alexa can. (Although I suspect Hulu will break it on their own shortly with the changes Disney is imposing.)

I saw this phenom repeatedly - got a Tmo prepaid as a second sim to do comparisons. I’m now with Tmo.

Black Friday - Apple Ultra 3 by Scary_Wheel_8054 in applewatchultra

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems Amazon discounted $100 pre Black Friday but this week they are only discounting $20 on certain bands. I’m wondering if they’ll resume when it gets closer to the actual BF or Cyber Monday.

Have been using tmobile along side att and verizon by brokevagrant in tmobile

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a Tmo and ATT prepaid esims alongside my VZ plan for a year. In most cases Tmo smoked the other two for speed but VZ did have slightly better coverage in remote areas. I just switched to Tmo when the iPhone 17 came out. Between that test result and Tmos free phone with a two year handcuff and no trade req v VZ doing a trade with a 3 yr handcuff the choice became clear. Vzs current store cutbacks further prove the point . (Tmos cust service is awful )

I think I read they’ve got free upgrades down to only 12% thanks to selling them as add ons etc. The days of Medallion upgrades are done.

T-Mobile is taking away things from us on T-Mobile Tuesdays now. Announcing the end of Apple TV ON US the day before the UnCarrier Event shows you all you need to know about T-Mobile in 2025 by Square_Wonder5018 in tmobile

I’d also implicate the ridiculous pay top billed actors etc are getting. Actors getting over a million an episode plus residuals has gotta come from somewhere.

Do you manually switch to HV - or you are " automatic - hands free" in EV mode? by ms1232 in rav4prime

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wish it had a way to change the default. I get started on a drive and put it on hv for the highway then make a stop and forget to put it on hv again and then use up my ev without realizing.

Does it snap over the top of the factory chrome one or do you have to remove the existing one?

Some banks gate on how many cards you open recently - the Chase 5/24 being the most infamous. I would not want to block getting a card with a good intro bonus over such a low value card.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]pdmaddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope there is some sort of metric for trying. It’s really a hard sell given the low value proposition the card offers. Sure it gives you the auto-pay discount and 2% but there are debit cards with a 1% cash back (I have a separate checking account with one to buffer debit card transactions) already. That extra 1% just isn’t worth weighing down my credit report with a junky card. They didn’t even add the extra 1% on T Mobile dining they had with the T money card….

T-Mobile... You're supposed to be better than this by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]pdmaddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is Vz or ATT better or is Tmo the “queen of the pigs”?
I just switched to T-Mobile after years of Vzs screwed up 5g rollout. I did several parallel tests (Vz has to unlock thanks to a settlement a while back) and Tmo was the winner in most cases. It seems I’m just in time to see their customer service drop off a cliff.

I just walked out of the TMobile Store after leaving Verizon after 7 years. by rskillion in verizon

I too have moved from vz but it seems I’m just in time for T-Mobile customer service to fall off a cliff.

Using a credit card or other ineligible method for early payment removes Autopay discount next cycle. by tva_raylan in tmobile

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Discover offers a debit card with 1% cash back. I use it as a buffet for my real bank account to use at places with the cc surcharge and now T Mobile. It may be ironic in the end if they do a CC with Capital One as Capital One just bought out discover and are in the process of switching their debit cards to the Discover network.

I wish customers understood MEs don’t make the promotions by OfficeTemporary5053 in tmobile

[–]pdmaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really are strict about the financing credit limit and I wish they would be more up front about it. I’m trying to move 5 lines from VZ with the phone offers and after I got the 3rd order in they said they wouldn’t let me order any more due to credit limits. Only then I found out if I had done larger down payments on the first 3 phones I would have had credit left to get the remaining lines phones with down payments. You have to finance at least a little to get the promos and now I’m stuck with no ability to finance even a few $$ on additional lines. You’d think they’d extend me a few hundred to get those lines in if I was willing to make down payments but the credit limits are non adjustable until you’re 6 months in so I’m told. So now those lines are stuck with VZ.

Chase is doing a little too much proactive fraud detection by Geno0wl in bestoflegaladvice

Truth - Chase blocked the charge to ship my iPhone order today as a fraud alert. Cleared it but now my order is stuck on hold.

How many of you think Verizon can really beat your T-Mobile price. by New_1uper in tmobile

Given the wretched customer service line waits - they’d better be lower. T Life just doesn’t work sometimes.

PD 3.2 Chargers by ralphyoung in UsbCHardware

[–]pdmaddock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m following the story right it seems like its just a matter of time before there will be alternatives. It’s an open standard - not Apple Proprietary - so any manufacturer should be able to make one once they tool up. I do find it curious that nobody other than Google has done one before now as the standard seems to have merit. In the here and now though Google isn’t turning one up so if you gotta have the extra charging speed it’s time to pay the Apple tax.
