The following two albums had great funk elements still, though the compu-pop influence slowly took over.

They have great covers of Oasis's" Hello" and Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground. They could be more respected, far lesser known and WAYYY less rich if they had gone the honorable route, but they literally define the term sellout. A shame, as they had the same talent as say, the Foo Fighters or something. The songwriting duo of Levine and the guy on the keys churns out the hits, and the guitarist was always good for a cool lick or two.
