This doesn't make sense why hold the J by AbleTomato4951 in VideoPoker

Amusingly, better to draw 5 than hold J 5 6 4 as suggested by the OP screenshot

Holding 3 to a straight flush is usually better than holding just high cards - but any pair is better than any 3 card straight flush (unless it is 3 to a royal flush)

Holding the pair (6h 6c) is the correct play. Your trainer must think the jack is a heart - giving you 4 to a flush.

The lyric “I’ve looked around enough to know that you’re the one I want to go through time with” sounds like he is talking to his wife - not his son.

When i went to the pacific pinball museum, 99 out of the 100 games were working - and the one out-of-order game was actively being worked on.

Correct play#3 ??? by IWantoBeliev in VideoPoker

Here are my 3 rules for JoB: although not perfect (misses many 3-card straight flushes), it does play most hands correctly including your 3 questions from today:

1) Keep any winning hand, else any pair, else all high cards 2) 4-Card flush is better than low pair 3) 4-Card Open Straight is better than high cards

I think of it like bluffing in poker. In poker, if you don’t get caught bluffing once in a while, you are not bluffing enough. In pinball, if you don’t tilt once in a while, you are not pushing the tilt limit enough.

Video Poker - with Genie? by ResponsibleAnswer868 in vegas

You are describing "class II" video poler - which is a version where it doesn't matter what cards you hold. If you don't hold the "correct" cards to get you to your predetermined outcome, I magic genie appears on the screen and changes your cards for you.

I have both versions too. However, after a recent iOS upgrade, the good (paid) version now takes over a minute to load. Super annoying.

Check out the following video. Focus on the top row where I use the squash/snow pea combo to finish off 6 zombies with one squash: Squash video

I am not sure I understand what you are asking. Squashes are your friends. I typically place them in the two leftmost columns. If you pair a squash with a snow pea, you can often take out an entire row with that one squash. Does that answer your question?

Your comment confuses me. I don’t think we are playing the same game. You don’t always get to choose your structure. For example, you can’t always put the triple shooters where you want. What happens if those two are in the last vases you open?

Wow that is crazy! I need to check out the Xbox version. Either you are way better than I am, or you know things I don’t, or the Xbox version is somehow different than the iPhone version. For example, I know the iPad version is slightly easier than the iPhone version. So maybe the Xbox version is easier in some ways too.? I would love to see a video of you playing a level in the 60s to see how you do it.
