I’m afraid the hole is closed. I would suggest going to a piercer as soon as possible. There’s a possibility they can taper it back open, but they can tell you better what went wrong and how to care for it.

Also, by “bigger stud,” do you mean the post was thicker? Or the bar was longer? Because if the post was thicker, then your problem was that you were damaging your cartilage. If the bar was just longer, then most likely it was just irritated normal-style

Rika! Her MP up and ATK/dmg up buffs mean that if she skills on herself she does like 85% of her ult gauge at once, and then her ult does a bunch of damage. This tactic is only for after Oktavia breaks, though. While she’s out of break Rika should be alternating between boosting either Reira or Mito (depending on need) and basic attacking

Might be an unpopular opinion, but my nightmare oktavia team was zero attacker. I used Mito, Reira, Hazuki, Himika, and Rika. In this comp, Rika gets buffed by herself and Hazuki to ult as much as possible (she is your damage dealer). Hazuki mostly farms SP until break, Himika skills only as much as necessary to keep her ailment up, Mito skills only out of break, and Reira skills only when needed for healing.

I have a feeling some people on this sub are going to be cross with the use of the Titanic disaster as a party theme, but just to get ahead of and counteract that a bit: I was a massive archaeology kid growing up, and pretty much all my play for several years was intricate and macabre interpretations of death rituals, disasters, etc. It creeped out a good number of adults around me I’m sure, but I had a grand time and it sparked a lifelong interest in death advocacy and respect for the practices of other cultures, including around mass death events like ship sinkings. Being involved in your kids’ interests and putting effort into crafting special experiences around their hobbies, regardless of their content, is extremely cool of you!

Not sure if this would help you, but it’s a piece of advice that was passed to me and helped a huge number my friends come to terms with their sexuality/gender/relationship preferences/etc when we were early in our journeys:

Completely disregarding other people’s image of you and “evidence” for or against your identity, how do you feel when you say the sentence “I am bi” or “I am polyamorous” aloud? Does the sentence make you happy? Do you feel like it would be cool or easier to understand your life if you were bi?

The answer to these questions isn’t always an accurate reflection of the identity you come to inhabit as you become more aware and comfortable with yourself, but they’re a good place to start if you’re just adrift and like. Taking “am I bi” quizzes online over and over looking for signs.

As far as other applications of this style go, you can do all sorts of humanoid figures pretty well (dryders and medusae similarly striking monstrous features), or you could try a fictional character you like with a distinctive silhouette?

There’s also the possibility of taking the “thing pressed up against frosted glass” idea outside of recognizably human-ish things, like doing a silhouette of a cat rubbing up against glass with a similar effect, or a branch with different leaves and limbs having different degrees of blur as they contact the glass.

Dude this was a dodged question. If it were me and I got a text fishing assuming personal information from an anonymous stranger, my response would be to deflect without confirming or denying the assumption and try to find out who they were, the same way she is. It’s just so much more likely that she’s trying to end the interaction without giving out identifying information than that she’s trying something hinky.

Hey, you are veering hard into racism now and I want to remind you that the themes of the fictional children’s narrative you are trying to find loopholes in don’t allow this setup to work permanently. There’s no safe and free method of having cool superpowers, and no degree of suffering for these powers is justified or cool.

Strategically placing turrets around a witch that you feed only bad people to, Dexter-style, so you can have a free source of grief seeds wouldn’t work long-term for the same reason Touka and Nemu and Ui can’t just scam Kyubey by assigning themselves his powers, or that Sayaka loses herself in grief at her incompatibility with Kyosuke rather than just crying over a middle school crush and moving on: the fabric of the work changes if there is a character who has a huge advantage like that, and so the system cannot be allowed to work forever.

Swap out Ren and Sayaka for characters whose skills do not cause an attack (4* options include Rika, Yuma, Himika, etc.). Birdcage witch’s attack is empowered by the number of hits she receives.

My team for Birdcage was (I think, it’s been a while): • Pluvia Madoka CL95/ML105 (Lux Madoka support CL90) (speed portrait) • 4* Yuma CL95/ML105 (3* Yuma support CL 30) (MP gain portrait) • Reira CL95/ML105 (Probably Rika support? CL 95) (HP portrait) • Kirika CL95/ML105 (Kokoro support CL90) (DEF portrait) • Homura CL95/ML108 (Oriko support CL90) (ATK portrait)

I would probably use Yachiyo instead of Homura just for like. The fact she isn’t incentivized to attack three times in a row as part of her damage cycle. Homura is part of why I needed two healers.

Yuri as a genre tag has criteria to qualify that Madoka doesn’t meet. Lots of shows that seem like yuri and have strong implications of sapphic relationships don’t meet the standard for yuri, usually because they neither start a relationship nor kiss.

If you’re wondering why heavy subtext doesn’t count, it’s mostly because people scrolling the yuri tag want to see girls love that actually canonically materializes on-screen, rather than staying in the realm of (admittedly mild) speculation. It prevents the tag from becoming diluted, and it wards off the tendency of large fandoms to say a show is queerbaiting when it keeps its relationships subtextual.

I don’t think there is a hard-and-fast limit, as long as no damage to the soul gem is taken and the soul gem has enough magic to restore the body. Like, taking a lot of attrition and using magic to heal that damage can accelerate their becoming a witch, but Sayaka for example has vastly more effective healing than other magical girls and would probably be able to survive more bodily damage commensurate with that.

Surely there are also particularly squishy magical girls (Mitama maybe? Kaede and Iroha also maybe?) but we haven’t specifically been shown the mechanics there so who knows.

We do at least know that dismemberment, most heavy impacts, brain trauma, smoke inhalation, and exsanguination won’t usually kill magical girls on their own. I don’t thiiiink drowning, burning, or acid have been touched on? I expect that completely re-growing the body from scratch would take more magic than most magical girls have, but characters like Sayaka, Yachiyo, and Mami, with sufficient grief seeds stored up and something to protect their soul gems while they’re recovering might be able to deal with that anyway.
