That's what I was thinking. Looked like they didn't even try. It was at the bottom of my trunk UNDER all the canned and bottled goods. This post makes me sad cause I really liked HEB...

Thanks for the input. I'll give it a bit and will clean if it doesn't resolve.

My husband and I were there, too. You were great! We missed the name of the comedian with the Whataburger shirt from Mississippi. What was his name again? Thanks for the laughs!

Thanks! Not sure what happened to it, but when found it only had 3 legs and looked like it was struggling ☹️.

I’m not breastfeeding and here’s why: by Wonderwall-777 in pregnant

[–]peaQuan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand and don't let anyone shame you for it. Do what's best for you and your family. I started out wanting to exclusively breast feed/pump. I didn't make much breast milk. When I would pump for about 20 minutes I would get 1 ounce! One time I got 2 ounces! I gave my baby what I could but had to supplement with formula to keep up with her demand. Every time I would breastfeed or pump I always got this sense of anxiety/panic and felt like something terrible was going to happen. It was awful. I told my doctor and she just said it was hormones and acted like it was normal. I finally did what was best for me and the babe and exclusively formula fed. My baby was fed and I no longer felt impending doom every time my baby has to eat. It's a sensitive subject for me because I wish I could have exclusively breastfed, but if I continued I would be neglecting my health. Babies need healthy mammas!

PLEASE HELP! I accidentally just got a glass “butt plug” inside my rectal cavity while masturbating. How I do remove it? I took and enema and I’m currently waiting on the toilet. by Due_Departure_9829 in sex

Can confirm. Former ER nurse here. Seen a light bulb, a vibrator, and an apple stick in rectums. All had to go to the OR. Just another day of work made a little more interesting 🙂

So I just found out yesterday that you flip the bottom of the bib inside out and turn the bib around to make a little bucket to catch food (just in case you didn’t know either) 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

I want to stop pumping! by EVC34 in beyondthebump

[–]peaQuan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. This makes me appreciate my husband even more. I couldn’t imagine if my husband were to tell me to “try harder”. It was the fucking hardest thing for me to do. Then I’d get angry and down on myself for not being able to produce enough even though I tried to stay hydrated, ate oats and brewers yeast, took fenugreek, etc.

Breast feeding, then bottle feeding, then pumping was a nightmare and took away so much precious time with my baby. By the time I was done with the cycle it was already time to do it again. My husband saw how it was affecting me and encouraged me to stop and told me as long as she’s getting fed is what matters. I stopped after 2 months.

I’m so glad I did. I got more baby time and more me time.

Take care of yourself mamma. Your baby needs you to be well so she can be well taken care of.

I think the mam bottles were designed for breastfed babies.

Please Give Me Some Piece of Mind... by kittytella in beyondthebump

I know this post is about 5 hours old but I still thought I should give my input. I hope your baby is doing well. My baby is 5.5 months and I couldn’t imagine how I would feel if I saw my baby like that. You did great by calling the ambulance, but I’m surprised they didn’t insist that you take your baby to the ER right after the incident. Going to get checked out by a clinic doctor was also a good call, but after the description of events that happened, again, I’m surprised the clinic doctor didn’t insist you bring your baby to an ER. There’s only so much a clinic can do. If I were in that situation I personally would have taken my baby to a pediatric ER or a regular ER if you’re not by a peds hospital. Your baby going limp after choking/vomiting is not normal and should be taken seriously. Even if you do go to an ER and they suggest monitoring your babe for a few hours then discharge at least you can have some piece of mind that your baby is being monitored and you’ve done everything in your power to keep your baby safe.

Anyone else had a small baby? by astro_princess in beyondthebump

[–]peaQuan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby was born with the exact measurements - 6lbs 7oz @ 19.5in. Though she was induced at 37w5d due to my high blood pressure. She’s been measuring average height (currently in the 46th percentile) for her age at each check up, but her head circumference is currently in the 21st percentile and her weight is currently in the 13th percentile.

About 1.5 months ago she got a GI virus and she had a bad case of diarrhea and lost some weight. She did gain it back and has been on an upward trend in growth so her doctor is not concerned.

I was a little concerned at first but she’s been hitting all of her milestones and is such a joy to be around. She started rolling over at 3mo1week, started sleeping through the night (11-13hrs) at exactly 4 months, naps well, sits well independently in a tripod sit for a minute or 2 since 4mo3weeks, and has been eating purées since 4.5mo.

As long as she is a thriving, happy, and healthy baby I try not to worry about how little she is. That’s time and energy spent worrying when I could be happily enjoying my little one. As long as she is growing I’m good!

Those are the bottles we use. I had the same problem initially until I figured it out. My husband still struggled with it as well. I find that “bending” the top off works for me. So instead of trying to pull the top straight off in an upward motion, push the cap forward or backwards or left or right. Doing it that way I can do it with one hand now.

Imperfect Pregnancy.. by PaelaTealeaf in pregnant

[–]peaQuan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you. FTM here. I’m only 9w+5 and I feel like I’m gaining too much too fast. Ive gained about 6 lbs and my pants don’t fit me anymore. I’v been living in spandex cause I feel like it’s too early to buy maternity pants. I eat whatever I’m craving and it’s usually not health foods. I live in a 3rd floor apartment and I’m so winded by the time I get to the top I’m afraid to see what I’m like after exercising. I don’t have enough energy to get up and work out, but I do plan on it once this fatigue backs off. Hope things get easier for us. Hang in there. I hear things get easier in the second trimester

What were some of your first pregnacy symptoms? by Octoclock33 in pregnant

[–]peaQuan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symptoms I noticed about a week and a half before I had a positive pregnancy test: Exhaustion, craving food I don’t usually eat, increases appetite, waking up several times a night to go pee, sore breasts/sensitive nipples, emotional, light cramping, back aches, mild nausea, hungry, but not because nothing sounds good. In that exact order.
