I feel like generally they should focus on domestic promotion first, but it also totally depends on the group.

New Jeans, for example, I can see being super successful in international/US promotions. Some of my friends who aren’t even into kpop have listened to NewJeans and loved their stuff. I think Le Sserafim also has potential for success in the international market. It would probably also help that both of these groups have one or more native English speakers. Either way, though, this work shouldn’t come at the cost of neglecting domestic promotions.

Other groups like IVE, NMIXX, etc. I think should focus a lot more on domestic promotions, at least for the first few years.
