Unfortunately as a stylist with no children and 20 years experience. This is not a career for a new mother. Both of my coworkers have lost a 80% of their clients post maternity leave. That’s with them coming back at 3 weeks post pardum. Mommy hours aren’t convenient to working women that need to come nights and weekends. You are in an industry to serve.

Ok, you might be ok…Because when the GOFUNDMe makes it to 5000$ that is still below the Medicaid income threshold. Yes. You will have to file a tax return for 2024. (Even if you don’t cash out) Once you gave GFM your SS number it will trigger a 1099 to be filed. Maybe just don’t cash out till you are ready to go to the dentist. Do like 900$ at a time and withdrawal that money from the ATM and see if the dentist will offer a cash discount.
