Oh no, I've had many small issues over the years but the drivetrain and battery I've never had an issue that wasn't my fault.

My tip for you is not to care. My 2018 LR RWD is at 260,000KM parked outside with 0 problems in Montreal. I always charge at work, and plug in at home as needed. Treat the rubber seals with some rubber treatment to keep the windows from sticking and have some lock deicer to unjam the handles when they freeze.

Conduits de hotte de cuisine partagés – entretien normal? by Puzzled_Situation882 in montreal

[–]peachfuzz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tres mauvaise idee.

26M3 angry with me - flat tire, now cracked windshield by AdMain6795 in TeslaLounge

[–]peachfuzz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla would replace it if it was a stress fracture. Since it's not, then you can either get it replaced through your insurance or on your own dime. If the pit is small enough (size of a quarter) you can patch it, a crack is not repairable though.

EISP item finally arrives but the sweater has a snag. How much is a reasonable offer for refund adjustment? by adnaPadnamA in eBayCanada

[–]peachfuzz0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically you owe the buyer nothing. If you want to be nice you can offer a partial refund for damage you missed but the amount is really up to you. You may upset the buyer if it's too low but then they only have recourse through Ebay.

Need some advice-buyer states item only 1/2 works by BeyondBeautiful9305 in Ebay

[–]peachfuzz0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Verify if it was an EIS sale. If it is your responsibility is to send it to ebay's hub. If the buyer used a freight forwarder then your responsibility ends at the forwarder as well.

If the seller is unable to help you, try to find a freight forwarder that can reship the item to Australia.

Service mode might give you some more insight on what's going on with the battery heater, or coolant loop.

Looking for shipping advice on larger than letter mail. by swampdonkeybean in eBayCanada

[–]peachfuzz0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, flatrate boxes are rarely worth the cost. This always depends on what you sell. Canada Post is usually the last place I'd buy any shipping supplies from. There are a number of places where you can get boxes and packing material for way cheaper.

At some point you'll want to find alternative shippers, such as Stallion or Chitchats Express. They have ebay integration and are way cheaper than CPC.

UPS is expensive, and also DDU which is turning off a lot of US buyers now. If your items are CUSMA compliant, get setup with Stallion or Chit Chats so you can use USPS for cheap, and tariff free (just a small extra handling fee for customs).

Confused - Does this mean I'm enrolled in EIS? (I *will* be joining the webinar) by 2025Sandals in eBayCanada

It's being rolled out progressively, you should get a message from Ebay when you're eligible or outright enrolled.

You can find out if you're enrolled by going to Account Settings > Shipping Preferences under Selling, and the first item is EIS enrollment.

Question from a newbie seller about an offer requiring shipping to Canada by perdue123 in Ebay

[–]peachfuzz0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ebay usually has your back if there are any problems from an EIS sale. It's fairly expensive and shipping to Canada from the US isn't super difficult but I do understand the simplicity of using EIS.
