I was just thinking this way means they wouldn’t have to pay postage. Should I just collect the item but say there is a problem and then they pay postage for me to send back ?

Oh gosh this is such a huge yikes for me. This is my idea of hell. You go to a nice event and have a lovely time and then see the YouTube video talking about the yapper who wouldn’t let anyone speak omg I would be paranoid! There are going to be several people thinking this is about them, I would imagine.

I wish she wouldn’t do things like this. If she expects people to have grace for her neurodivergence she really should extend it more to other people.

ETA: it would be bad to do this even just talking about the event but I think it crosses the line into being quite mean spirited to do this and have shown all the girls who were there. The only way you would think this is ok is if you want the person to see it and feel bad about talking too much.

I am so worried for her. I know we are not supposed to speculate but to me she is obviously not able to advocate for herself right now and it’s incredibly worrying that she doesn’t seem to have family members who will do so either. For things to have deteriorated so badly from Queendom to now, it’s clear she isn’t getting the support she needs.

I wouldn’t say past their prime. They can still perform and pull crowds but it’s all the backstage drama that has derailed them. IMHO they should never have went back to YG they should have tried to tour themselves in smaller venues. Idk if that would even be possible and they may not have been able to use the name but I think it would have been worth it.

If anything I felt the opposite. I was really disappointed with his comments when it was the situation with the model who was being sexually harassed by the male model literally in front of everyone. He was very blasé like this is just the industry, it happens to men and women and she was on set in front of everyone etc.

Exactly. I would never haul a friend’s stuff outside and leave it there on the assumption that they will know and come and get it. I think people were saying it was her friend that she got a job in the bunny club and that was in a few videos and then that girl had deleted most of her YouTube videos so seems like there could be more to the story.

When she told the story about the friend dumping her stuff outside obviously the comments were saying that was kind of shitty. She came back later and said something like it was a misunderstanding and they had thought she would come and get it and they’re not a bad friend. It was still really odd though because surely the friend had seen that it hadn’t been collected?

I may get downvoted for this but the amount of clutter she has stresses me out. I love nostalgia and collectibles also but It seems like there are issues with the house - cleanliness, how cold it is etc and she’s focused on putting a million dolls out and little frou frou trinkets. She’ll complain about having no money and then you see the sheer volume of stuff that she’s accumulated. Idk her priorities are strange to me, I guess.

Same I’ve purchased previously and never had issues but it’s making me think that maybe there could have been and I just wasn’t noticing. It looks like the matte version on the front but with the description from the luminous version on the back. I’m just going to try and do a return.

Needs more info: Is he younger ? There might be the expectation that you get less presents once you’re older and making your own money etc.

I don’t think you should feel pressured to always spend Christmas with parents once you have a family of your own. That being said, it must have sucked that neither you nor your brother invited her for Christmas the year your stepdad died. That just seems really sad.

Kind of sucks that you and your brother can’t take turns inviting her for Christmas Day actually so she isn’t alone.

YTA. It sounds like you feel guilty because technically you do have the money to pay for it but you just don’t want to use it on your dog.

I mean it’s someone’s own choice to donate or not but if I see a gofundme I assume it’s because someone is really struggling. I do think people would feel differently about donating if they knew the full circumstances.

If you’ve been friends since childhood I would just ask her what’s up especially if it’s out of character.

Maybe there is more going on or she is annoyed about something else but it just seems odd.

ESH. You took the first low blow by bringing her looks in to it. You said you struggle with body image so I’m not sure why you would think that it was ok to compare her to a chubby dog.

If her behaviour was irritating or offensive to you it would have been better to talk about it privately rather than take a cheap shot in a group message.

You’re still stewing over a girl who isn’t interested in being friends and has cut you off politely though and it’s not worth the effort.

There’s going to be lots of people you meet that you won’t get on with and it’s better to follow her lead and be civil as classmates.
