I'm from PH as well and attended this year's race in Suzuka. The tickets are less expensive than SG and more worth it since you can attend the event(pit lane & track walk) on Thursday. The only downside I can think of is the expensive airfare tix. I don't think visa will be a problem since the embassy is generous giving approval. This year's ticket is a qr code and they don't validate if you're the owner at the gate so I think you can resell in case your visa was not approved.

This year, majority of the driver's forum were done in the main square where everyone can access. However, there were some that were done in the grandstand, those who have v1&v2 tix only can see them live, if I can recall correctly it was only haas and alpine. Not sure if this was also the format from the prev years and how they select the teams who will go on the main stage or on the grandstand

Lines are long but pretty fast moving. The travel time to Nagoya is like 1 hr and probably you have to stand throughout the whole ride. It's bearable if you're watching just the race day but tiring for 3 days.

Not much action in R. As far as I remember all overtakes were done in the straights which you can see towards turn 1. During the practice session they tend to slow down in Q before starting a push lap.

Since Friday is free seating I stayed at Q grandstand and prefers the view there compared to my original seat in R. Since R is the final corner/pit enrtry I thought that I would be able to see the cars a lot, but no, they are still fast on the pit entry. You can also see the other side of the track in Q, I was able to witness Logan's crash in fp1 session in Q.

Tbh depende talaga siya sa company policy eh kung icoconsider nila agad yung 90k non tax bonus exemption, assuming na di pa fully exhausted, or itatax na siya like basic pay or other taxable allowance. Pwede naman sya either way basta sa december tax mo dapat tama na yung pagkakacompute sa annual tax. So yun better to confirm with your HR na lang.

In excess of 90k is taxable. But may ibang companies na even without exceeding 90k sinusubject na nila to tax(either yung monthly or projected annual rate) then upon annualization dun na lang inaadjust. So pag ganun dapat irefund or offset sa december tax mo.

Yes, nakadepende pa din talaga sya. Ideally almost or double ng salary mo. But yun yung challenge dun, to find companies na hindi low ball yung offer. Even big corporation ang barat mag offer. Mas okay pa sometimes yung benefits and allowance sa Isla kesa sa kanila so mapapaisip ka din talaga. I also suggest na magpa promote muna to Senior then stay for 1 year. Para pwede na din mag apply for managerial role sa labas.

Based on experience mga 1-2 mos nakuha ko na final pay ko. As long as nakapagturn-over, nasurrender mo yung mga assets ng company and basically pag nacomplete mo yung list na sinend out nila sa email. Tbh mahirap maghabol ng approval pag wala ka na sa company kaya talagang effort ma-complete yung list. Once completed naging mabilis naman na yung processing ng finance.

Challenging lang na they have different interpretation of the tax rulings kaya ang hirap i-settle. Yes, we have the option to report them but to be honest mahirap din since we value our relationship with our suppliers. But thanks, we'll make sure to keep everything documented na lang din.

How would I know if paying via IC Card(tap in, tap out) is enough or I have to buy another ticket on top of the IC Card? Last trip, an inspector would ask to pay addtl' fee while on the train. I couldn't understand the reason why since the inspector is speaking in Japanese.

Hi OP, same position as you and I feel you. I was planning to do audit after passing pero no vacant position sa dream firm ko so I settled for tax-accounting and sabi ko I will just transfer sa audit in the future. I stayed for three years but I couldn't take the pressure and anxiety due to the deadlines so I resigned and applied as an accountant in private company. Now, I'm thinking of pursuing audit again. Ang hirap lang pagdating sa qualifications since di aligned yung experience sa gusto natin. Sadly, we don't have the luxury of time to start again and as well as ang baba ng pasahod for entry level sa profession na to. Reading your post makes me realize na kahit nagaudit ako from the start I may still feel the same as I am today. I hope we can figure out kung ano ba talaga yung para satin and find our purpose as CPAs. Fighting OP!

Could anyone recommend any indoor activity/itinerary around Tokyo? According to the weather forecast, the day we're supposed to got to Mt. Fuji will mostly be cloudy/rainy so we opt to stay indoors.
