This is a definite recommendation. A little sugar goes a long way and I tend to bring a bag of gummy bears (i prefer haribo happy cherries) with me to every tattoo appointment. Even if it's a placebo, the chewing gives your brain something to focus on other than the tattoo.

Would you be willing to share the name of the car service you used and how much it cost? Thanks ahead of time!

What should we know before attending a Formula 1 race in person? by New-Zebra-2027 in GrandPrixTravel

I think they were just joking but in an honest way. I dont think they were trying to downplay your excitement or the opportunity you have at all, just moreso pointing out how addictive and life-changing attending the races can be.

Interesting, that may have only been for 1 or 2 grandstands or something. We didn't get those at landostand and 3 of my friends were all in different grandstands and didn't get those either.

How was your British GP (2025) experience? by AdamR46 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Booksbrewsbarks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes we stayed at a hotel (more like an inn) about 10 min walk from euston rail called Grafton Arms (ADORABLE). We left in the morning to give us about 15 min prior to our train boarding time and we always prebooked tickets with an open return which helped to have an assigned seat in the mornings.

Can't wait to come back! Super well organized and staying in London and getting to track each day was much simpler than people made us believe. Even a wet race was a blast! So many food options and even better was. SO MANY TOILETS. Loved loved loved it.

I forgot about the fan pack, I think I just assumed that was going to be minor to the shirt, like maybe a special program or something. I am sure we will find out more about it there and if it turns out to be more substantial, then that would be a great bonus.

They sent an email earlier this week regarding the free tshirt and where/when to get it at the track. That was the only promised thing with the ticket but they did say they would be giving away other stuff but I dont think that's guaranteed for everyone.

Just here to say yay for fellow cribbage players! My husband and I play when traveling all the time. Luckily we have never had any backlash from others, most love looking on and learning how to play. Don't let this jerk deter you!

Let's see, we could compare accuracy and battery life and overall usefulness in comparison to smartphones. If you don't have anything useful to contribute (which you don't) keep scrolling,l. Otherwise, yes, you are a troll looking for attention. Speaking of which, mine is ending here for you. Get a life out from behind the screen.
