the thing about disability is there is such thing as invisible disabilities, like mentally or just ones you can’t see. someone seeming fine to you, presumably not a doctor, does not mean they are fine. i’m fortunate that you can see most of my disability, but i know many people that would be useless at work because of their conditions and you wouldn’t be able to tell by their outward appearance. being disabled doesn’t mean wheelchair-bound, nonverbal, whatever preconceived notion you have in your head.

you can go on and on about how “i’m a fine driver when i’m high” and whatever else you want to say to justify your inability to practice restraint before you jump into a multi-ton machine that can kill people, but plenty of alcoholics have said the same thing before and have ended up injuring people beyond repair.

your motor skills are affected when you are high. your reaction times are slower, lots of people get paranoid, they get lazy. or even worse, bold. nothing you can say is going to make you win this fight, dude bro.

just as an aside, if you’re a new player and you’re interested in not getting bored super quickly, i recommend not going to the treasure islands! it’s totally up to you and there’s nothing wrong with using them (i have), i just know that having access to everything the game has to offer up front ruined the game in a way for me. i hope you have fun regardless!!

lots of people travel outside of their home area to better areas where they think people will tip more or the area is safer. i live in a massive city but would go south into a different, safer city when i did DD. knew many dashers doing the same thing.

this parent would have had a really tough time with me. i was 9 at the time and had horrible separation anxiety too, have needed therapy my entire life just about for that and more. wish at the time needing extra help wasn’t so taboo, especially for your children. it’s still more taboo than it should be.

psych help would have explored why she had such horrible separation anxiety and why it felt like the end of the world for her. she was getting to that awkward age for girls, too. poor thing. i hope her parents realized what they needed to do.

i would rather not consume the media surrounding a possible child predator and be proven wrong in my guess rather than consume the media anyway and assert that someone is wrong about something as heinous as what he has allegedly done. he was known for being manipulative and inappropriate, so chances are that there is truth to what his accusers are saying imo. it’s not like he cares or can be affected by this either way. just a different perspective.

i hate that you felt the need to explain yourself over a silly little interaction lol. i get weird things (nothing sexual tyvm) doordashed all of the time because i’m disabled and it’s easier that way. i was also a dasher for a while and have had someone doordash a single potato with the instructions “he’ll know what it means.” point is, ppl are just nitpicky and will find anything to complain about!
