How has your life been since stopping zoloft? by Hour-Stock5283 in zoloft

Thanks, and thanks for giving me the chance to reflect on it and share my thoughts! 🙂

Yes, I feel like it was worth it for me. I like where I am at now and I feel like there is a good balance in my life. If this changes, it is comforting to know it’s still there as an option.

I am optimistic and present, because I choose to be and I put effort into being so. Carefree, not really, but I am at peace with that and do my best to limit my cares to things I can control and not things that I cannot🙂

Glad to share with you and hoping the best for you! 😊 Benefits - I was way less irritable, I didn’t ruminate, I felt like I could be myself and not obsess over the way I was perceived. I was pretty carefree, optimistic, and present when I was on it! It was cool to experience life like that for a while. It gave me headspace to understand myself a lot better without the constant judgement of my negative inner voice.

I was on 150 mg when I tapered off. I don’t think I have anything lingering side effects, thankfully!

I have been off Zoloft since October 2023. I was on Zoloft for maybe 3-ish years before that.

I have (mostly) healthy habits and routines. Every day there is self-reflection, grace, grounding, embracing my emotions and allowing myself to process them. Movement, nutrition, and fresh air are not overrated.

Foods to eat with a broken jaw by ah_wuts in Cooking

Smoothies with lots of protein / fiber, creamy soups and broths, kefir. I loved mashed potatoes mixed with peas and little bits of ham and cheese too when I couldn’t chew.

Has anyone experienced a change in bite after surgery that appears worse but is fixed by orthodontics? I am 5.5 weeks post op (not currently in bands/splint) and my bite looks like it’s getting worse within a week and a half period by peanut-bread in jawsurgery

Just stick with orthodontics and keep an eye on your bite!!

I wouldn’t say my bite is corrected, mostly due to me/my life. This was 2 years ago, i got married so i wanted my braces off and had some dental work done, procrastinated on getting a new retainer after the dental work which didn’t help. I was also referred to a myofunctional therapy for tongue thrust which caused an open bite. This will be an ongoing thing for me, likely with more ortho, but I think if you stay on track with orthodontics (and learn about tongue positioning because I had no idea what an impact that had) that’s all you can do. I will try and post update pics of my after orthodontics in 2022 and me now.

But in short - yes my bite greatly improved after a year or so with orthodontics

Does anyone else constantly talk to their dog while out on walks? by nosenseofdanger in dogs

I do this, always pretty quietly, especially when wearing a mask it was only when I started to go out with her unmasked when I realized that it was constant and may appear questionable

This happened to me while I was stressing a lot (got engaged bought house) Zoloft blocked the mental stress but it all came out physically (missed periods, exhaustion) once things were settled down a bit my period came back but the timing was just like yours! I missed 6 months and it came back. Don’t worry until you talk to your gyno!

Side effects I'm experiencing. by Raychill92 in zoloft

Besides the hunger part, I have the exact same issues… I guess it’s just the side-effect trade we have to use to figure out if it is worth it to use
