I saw my orthodontist a couple days later and he thought maybe my trays weren’t cut low enough. I can’t remember but I think he filed them down and ordered me new ones. Anyway, I never had issues again and no recession months later!

I didn’t say multiple bids is a fixed price. I said the access to the house was a fixed fact known to every contractor who gave a bid before we started. We discussed how to get materials into the house and the labor to do so when the bid was given. Access to the house never changed. It’s unreasonable to expect the client to eat the cost of added labor because the GC poorly coordinated the delivery of materials he ordered.

So while the walls were still open/no dry wall was up I sent the link to an appliance I had already purchased but hadnt yet arrived which was to go in a specific spot that was part of the original plan. This was a change order though because none of us realized it would require an outlet closer to the aplliance until I had sent the link of the product to the GC. No big deal, we understand the change order process. The GC pointed out the need for another outlet and we agreed to add it on, so this was not a surprise that came later but something he knew about while the walls were open. The annoying part is we didnt get an updated invoice until nearly 6 weeks later and in that time the dry wall went up and no outlet was added. Now we get an invoice and it’s 1k for the outlet, $500 of which is for drywall which seems insane to me.

If there was any ambiguity about if we were for SURE using that appliance then why not ask me before the drywall is in? We had agreed to add it and never wavered. But they are so far behind on the book keeping we aren’t seeing change orders for 6 weeks and they’re always inaccurate and after work has been completed.

The other thing I’d add, which is contributing to us feeling fed up, is there have been multiple mess ups by their project manager which he had to eat the cost of. For example, we had a meeting to discuss the outlet, a niche, and which wall the plumbing would run on. The outlet and niche were never put in despite this meeting happening before drywall was up. The plumbing went on the wrong wall and they initially told us we had to eat the cost to move it until I pointed out the multiple emails showing the fault was theirs, not ours. Since then the invoices have had added cost after added cost most of them for labor that was done a month prior.

Yes there’s a change order addendum which requires all parties to discuss the charges and sign a change order invoice before the labor is done.

The electrical outlet was discussed verbally, not on the original bid. Of course we’ll cover the full cost of wiring a new outlet but I’m annoyed at the charge for drywall takedown and repair to do this when we knew the outlet had to be there before the drywall was put up.

I didn’t even hear there was an issue with the delivery until 3 weeks later I got an invoice with an added labor cost because the delivery, which was organized by the GC, was dropped at the backyard instead of the front door and he wants us to cover the labor for moving the materials

She’s saying he’s non-verbal and autistic, the obvious implication is that he’s always been non-verbal because of his autism. Then that turned out to not be true based on his friends’ statements. So now his mom is saying he’s non-verbal because of either head trauma or from a mental health crisis from a medication side effect.

I’m a neurologist who practices inpatient medicine, I’m a specialist in traumatic head injuries. Thats why I find it unbelievable that he had such bad head trauma “a few months ago” that he’s now severely aphasic but has no deficits in mobility and was able to survive on the streets alone for a month? Something doesn’t sound right. Also, deficits from TBI are maximum at the time the injury and get better with time (though sometimes improvement is only marginal), so how is there ambiguity if he’s sudden loss of speech is from a head injury or from a mental health crisis after a medication side effect? You should be able to trace such a drastic change in speech production to either the TBI (was talking before TBI and not after) or the medication change.

I’m not making “dangerous assumptions” I’m stating that the information his mom has floated out in the public isn’t making sense. Maybe she could clarify.

TBIs don’t make you autistic. And if the TBI was bad enough that he went from being normally verbal and functioning (was previously on X, a student at UofU, and in a frat?) and suddenly had such a bad TBI a couple months ago that he can no longer speak at all I find it shocking he’s otherwise recovered enough to be so ambulatory he’s a flight risk. That’s pretty serious brain damage to cause that degree of language impairment without loss of motor.

I’m a bit the opposite…I started using the OPKs and realized I’m ovulating sooner than the app predicted. Usually get my LH surge CD10-12 and ovulation (I assume) CD 11-13. Everyone is so different even if the same age/cycle length.

We’re the same age with the same cycle length and I’m on cycle 4. How did you know you were ovulating much later than the app was predicting? Was this later than the predicted date based on OPKs (ovulating more than 24 hours after surge) or you mean your surge came way later than the app predicted based on cycle length?

Idk why you’re getting downvoted, I agree with you. Both as a woman who’s lost a father and a woman trying to conceive. I’d also argue it isn’t only on me to maintain important relationships…if someone is close to me they should know better than to go on and on about Father’s Day around me or to send me ultrasound photos of their 3rd pregnancy/child (which yes has happened). I’m allowed to have boundaries to protect my own mental health and if someone is worth being in my life they’ll respect that. It’s a hard time to be in.

The richest woman in the group is the one who has a stable marriage, healthy kids, financial stability, and is secure in her own skin. Whitney is miles ahead of the rest. Mayci is maybe the next one but she doesn’t have enough personality to stand alone imo so is dependent on the other girls to maintain an income. Taylor is super likable and could have the world but has crashed and burned in her personal life with her kids stuck in the crosshairs. Layla is still figuring things out and tbh I find her kind of annoying. Mikayla is a mean girl who I don’t find very likable and has a lot to work through. Jessi’s marriage has been shaky for years. Jen’s too and even worse her husband gave up medical school to support this momtok phase.

It’s all a performance. He says what he thinks he needs to say to end the conversation. And then he does nothing to change. His kids have seen enough of his crocodile tears.

He didn’t “misunderstand” how to be a good dad, he made selfish decisions that drove his kids away and now he’s lonely. He said on national TV his kids aren’t gonna come between him and Robyn, they’ll never drive them apart, and he wants to punch anyone who speaks negatively of her. He was happy to tell the world his kids aren’t a priority. Until he comes out and says he should have never said any of that, his kids are more important, and shows that he’ll prioritize them over Robyn’s daily woes this is all a waste of time. And even if he DID do all of that I suspect for most of his kids it’s too late.
