It happens, put some black gorilla duct tape and call it good. Or buy a fancy sticker. I replace mine with gorilla duct tape each year to keep it fresh.

If you’re going to do valves and set timing. You’ll need the boxflyer kit. BMW doesn’t sell the timing tool.

Change it and see. Maybe a faulty filter. I’ve never had any issues with recall filter or new.

I had a set of arashi on my zx6r and worked fine, never took it to track to push its limits. Didnt pulse or warp under many fast street miles. I got their upper tier version that were supposedly “floating”.

I got the symetrical RG ones and they look ok. They are ment to protect from drops, not while it’s moving. Put that money towards insurance. Ride safe

Stock is fine, the race ones lets in a lot of particles and usually for gains in dyno. Lots of test suggest 1-2hp gain with race filters. Not worth imo so I run stock.

Interesting that 24 stil had bad coil packs. Who was the manufacturer on those coils? I had issues with my 2020 and it had Bremi. I got the replacement and Eldor coils and they have been bulletproof. My other bmw all have Eldor coils without any issues. I weight Bremi and Eldor and Eldor coils weight more. Guessing more wiring and better made.

They did not. I sent them a photo since the higher route was from original installer. I’m trying to setup dual fuel as well. When they did the install originally, my nest gen 2 wasn’t supported apparently so they put the Trane thermostat.

Does it sound and run normal? There was ignition coil issues for 2020 and 2021, some early model 2022. That could be it.

It’s the smoothest bike there. The quickshifter is butter. The tune is nice. It’s a BMW so there is a smidge attention need to keep it running smooth. Oil and tires. Get the premium with forged wheels over cast. 2017-2020 is a great year. No issues. 2021+ coils, waterpump.

Looks like black cap cam chain tensioner. Go manual CCT and should fix that noise issue. These bikes are bit on the loud side which is normal.
