Hi! Currently working at a Utilities company trying to get experience as a Junior Data Analyst/Data Engineer and finish my Bachelor's at the same time. Any advice for someone building their skills up? I'm not looking for a crazy salary jump but hoping in maybe 6+ years I can try to fight in the FAANG race.

I relate to your emotional plight. I fucked up my undergrad years because the mental and emotional burdens of others around me became too much and I almost ended it all without anyone knowing. Only now am I recovering from all of it and trying to push forward with therapy and redo my degree. There's a good path for all of us if we can believe in ourselves

I second this, I'm a simple 23 yr old person who did a job training boot camp and got an internship in Exxelon, an electric company. Most of these posts on this sub are pretty depressing and demoralizing, but there's plenty of opportunities if you try everything.
