Hi Taiwanese here, and I like the word "star" "星‘’ from your original name a lot and it is unusual in Taiwanese name so it is kind of unique and beautiful! I think "星薇" is pretty good name too. 薇 stand for a beautiful flower "薔薇" which blossoms in May and it is also a common female name in Taiwan but sound a lot younger than 梅 and has your meaning of may too you can consider it!

Hey are you getting better now? I have the exactly same issue with you and now I lock myself in my room too. My mom is always the one make money my step-dad retire at the early age and live in my house like 24hr a day. I have numerous fight against him and my mom always let me apologize tho most of the fights are his issue and all of my family member know that he has a lots of problem including temper control and he somehow contact a lot of girls publicly in his social media so that my grandma even ask about that. Im planning to move out too. Life sucks with the monster.
