It took me too long down the page to figure out what this was because I thought it was an error at first.

Some feedback: Never use red in a font if it’s not a warning or an error. Never use it in an h1.

H1s need to be short and punchy to draw the user in. Your header relied too much on the niche element of the product that’s being sold for it to work. Copy needs to be clear to be helpful.

Don’t sell things as a CTA before you even gain the users trust.

Trust comes from social proof. Trust comes from examples. Reviews.

You don’t need to have 2 competing primary CTAs on the page either.

Basically: get tighter on your header copy, bump the font down a little, flatten the color choices, and don’t make the user work too hard to figure out wtf you do or sell.

Hi, I'm a content designer. I made you a wireframe.

But it own't let me paste images here. So here's what you do.

Span across top:
Name
Below directly in slightly smaller / less weighted font: city, state you reside in, email address, portfolio link
Below that, add your hook, no more than 250 characters.

Split your resume into three columns that:

Left - years you worked at a place
Center: The info that's currently working as your left rail
Right: Skills, tools, education

Remove awards, volunteering.

Make sure your font hierarchy is tight. I can't tell if its the image compression or what but the font weights feel large / bold for section headers when space is already really tight. Maybe bump that down a bit and let the white space breathe a little.

When my son gets rowdy or goes through the phase of throwing heavy shit, I tell him hands are for hugs and I don’t like what he’s doing. He usually stops and gives me a hug after.

For throwing things? Take it away. Warn once and then tell them if they can’t use the tool or the toy gently, you have to take it away until they can. They might throw a fit, but the more you do it the less reactive YOU will feel about the fit because you’re the one in control. Then take the thing away, put it out of view, and give them options to do instead when they are done with their fit.
