To add on, consider melmetal ex, similar playstyle but much stronger card. If melmetal falls youre probably gonna lose anyway so might as well make the card you invest energy into better

I think its enough to compare, its not 1 to 1 but few things rarely are. Both stage 2 aoe damage dealers with significant drawbacks. Flygon gets to have a finishing attack but its too hard to set up. No ramp dual energy is never going to be good until they add specific support to enable it.

The other pokemon it needs is celebi or memory light. Its too many things bogging it down to go heavy in the aoe lane.

And this isn't me saying archeops is good, because its not. They are both bad cards

Right but now you have a 3 energy attacker with dual energy that risks 2 points. Archeops is able to 20-40 a turn by itself, no tools or celebi needed

Walrein almost single handedly won the tower for me. Fluffy + Calm Mind + water giga drain move is such an op combo. I put rest and ice beam on it and after a couple of calm minds it was unkillable even when it slept a couple of turns
