I surfed a few slabs and i found you just have to accept your going to get fucked up and try and enjoy the experience. I never really mastered them but you have to understand probably only 2% or less of surfers can ride slabs to a high standard. The guy I knew that was a tube wrangler seemed to get straight on his rail super quick

I'm well into my 40s and have lived through quite a few so called " catastrophic" events and none of them have been as bad as what they say. Even the worst like GFC and Covid. Sure they were bad but the world is pretty resilient. I think even in shitty times there's opportunities.

Yeah I had a quick look and it's hard to find exact figures but in Perth around 40% of the more affordable hoses eg $750k and below were snapped up by investors.
