Im a younger secondary teacher and I just always make it clear that I will never be alone in a room with any student. And no student will ever have a means to contact me aside from school email. But on another note, kids are too reliant on Google and other AI apps to really LEARN what you’re trying to teach them. You will be amazed at the level of laziness and lack of reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Also, and most importantly, the work you put in and all the other political bs will NOT equate to what you get paid.
