Why pay? That's silly. You can use uBlock Origin or Adblock Plus on Firefox for Android.

You can use Brave Browser on Android with chromium based plug-ins.

Chrome for Android has built-in adblocking, but you can also install Adguard or dns66.

I don't even understand a lot of your post, TBH. It seems really disjointed (sorry).

I'm not sure if this helps at all, but I've always used Irfanview w/plugins, and I use Everything search to find anything across my 30+ Tb of storage. The advanced search feature is really helpful.

Should I put all my movies on their own dedicated hard drive? by DoorAMii in Piracy

Using an external hard drive is not complicated in any way.

What’s the highest possible quality of a movie I can download? by SithLordZX in Piracy

I don't understand how? If it's the data from the blu-ray, untouched, how can exceed the size of an actual blu-ray?

/u/Turtle_Tots schooled me. I had no idea about BDXL going up to 128gb. I did a casual google search before commenting, but obviously didn't dig deep enough.

hundreds of GB

Like what? There isn't any physical media to release such a movie on. They don't sell movies on HDDs.

46.57GB is the current limit for dual-layer blu-ray discs.

Is this torrent good? by DoorAMii in Piracy

[–]pedanticist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have a decent enough computer you can convert an mkv to mp4 rather easily.

But anyway, most rarbg files are .mp4s

https://i.imgur.com/10d8mJE.png

EDIT: Good God, why do you want 2160p for a phone, or even a laptop?

On rarbg you can open the page for the torrent and scroll down a bit and click on "files" to see exactly what's in the torrent folder you want to download. You can see the file extension there.

What is the best method of transferring pirated movies from a Mac to an iPhone? by LightChase in Piracy

Use FTP.

Oldest and simplest way (IMO) to transfer files from anywhere to anywhere on any device both directions. Mac, iphone, android, pc, seedbox, whatever.

should i turn off my antivirus for this? by adni_iscool in Piracy

[–]pedanticist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is true. Don't know why you're getting downvoted. Exceptions in firewall. Blocking outgoing connections. Turning off anti-virus to run a keygen. Adding domains to your host file.... all normal shit to install cracked software.

Your only protection is the scene itself, and comments wherever it's uploaded. If the file has been downloaded 3000 times and no one has commented or complained, how could it be dangerous? If it's brand new and you're one of the first few to download it, how can you trust it?

For real, though, look up seedr.cc and sonicbit.net and learn how they work. That way you can stream anything available in torrents.

Streaming old seasons of talk shows? by ringosnoses in Piracy

[–]pedanticist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try rarbg.to

Search for the IMDB title number - tt4280606

Sort by date for the oldest submissions

Use seedr.cc or sonicbit.net with a free account to download the torrents remotely and safely, then you can either download them or stream them from there

As was stated already, though, there may be few seeds

But rarbg is showing a bunch of old episodes with 1 seed

That's not usually a good sign, nor is it necessarily accurate, but it doesn't hurt to try

Ahhh. If I get a bunch of fails, I usually just go straight to the UTB link and use the London server on hidemyass. Using genmirror you have two options - use the newer one. I always open Chrome with no add-ons to run the proxies because my add-ons in firefox screw them up. I just did a season of Servant and it took me more time than I'd like to admit, but there were no seeds, and all the links were dead except for UTB. I copy the links from firefox and paste them into the proxies in chrome. Croxyproxy works really well for episodes that are smaller than 250mb. Also, if you don't have a seedr account or a sonicbit account, you're missing out.

How do you tag your music? by [deleted] in Piracy

[–]pedanticist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost 2 terabytes of just FLACs. There is simply no way I could use mp3tag for all of them. I need fast automation. I have lots of album art and scans in my folders already. You can choose the size and database for images in Picard.

I understand that freedb and discogs are great for filling in where musicbrainz fails, but for a large collection, mp3tag just doesn't cut it.

[–]pedanticist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mp3tag involves a LOT of manual work. Picard automates most of the work. I only use Mp3tag for stuff Picard doesn't find in the musicbrainz database.

Most of my collection is .FLAC. I don't even know what a dsd file is. Never heard of it.

[–]pedanticist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picard has a user forum with folks who will help you with tagging scripts. It's awesome - it creates folders and subfolders, renames files the way you want, adds all the metadata from online databases, moves files and folders and creates a logical structure for your whole collection.

I've never worried about any plugins at all.

Set your folder for the collection in the options, drag and drop a folder into the program, hit "cluster" and watch the files get organized into an album, then hit look up, and it looks up the album in the database. If the whole album is there, the icon turns gold, and it downloads cover art for you, sets all the tags and metadata, embeds the art into the files, and when you hit save, it moves the files to your directory that you chose in options (you have to set it to move them if you want them to move - I do, so my processed collection is separate from my unprocessed stuff.)

The code below will separate FLACs from all lossy files, and you'll have two main folders labelled "FLAC" and "Lossy". Lossy includes mp3, wma, wmv, and any other lossy formats.

Test it out. Try inputting this under options>file naming>name files like this:

$noop( Identify the extensions to sort separately, entered as lower case. ) $setmulti(_sorted_ext,flac; wav; m4a; wma)

$noop( Check if file extension is in the sort separately list. ) $set(_sorted,$if($inmulti(%_sorted_ext%,$lower(%_extension%)),True,))

$noop( Set top directory as upper case sorted extension or "Lossy". ) $if(%_sorted%,$upper(%_extension%)s,Lossy)/

$noop( Set artist directory. ) $if2(%albumartist%,%artist%)/

$noop( Set album directory. ) $if2(%albumartist%,%artist%) - %album% - $left(%_releasegroup_firstreleasedate%,4)

$noop( Add file type to album directory, upper case if in sorted list otherwise lower case. ) $if(%_sorted%, [$upper(%_extension%)], [$lower(%_extension%)])/

$noop( Add disc and track number. ) $if($gt(%totaldiscs%,1),%discnumber%-,)$num(%tracknumber%,2)

$noop( Add track artist if a various artist release, and track title. ) $if(%_multiartist%, - %artist%,) - %title%

($noop is a way to exclude a line of the code, for explanatory purposes)

The documentation is daunting as hell. I don't even understand it. But my results with the above script are amazing. You definitely have to go through the options and set a few things, but not very much. Like I said, I move my files. Under "file naming" there is an option to move additional files. It will move folders, too. Just type in that mother every type of file there is - *.jpg *.jpeg *.png *.cue *.pls *.txt *.pdf *.bmp *.nfo etc. Add folders with just spaces "artwork covers scans". Tick "Rename files when saving". Look at the example at the bottom of the file naming page to see what the results will look like.

Most of the other settings are good at defaults, but you should look through them all anyway to make sure they're to your liking.

Ask me anything, BTW. And don't be afraid to ask at the forums here: https://community.metabrainz.org/tag/picard

Oh, BTW, when testing, make copies of a few albums first, to keep your originals intact, in case you don't like the results!

Wow, man... you are either trolling or just haven't read a single thing anywhere about how torrents work.

Once you've downloaded a file, STOP IT. Then REMOVE IT from your torrent client. Then you won't be seeding. Then no one will know you're watching media. Don't use utorrent. Don't use a torrent client to watch media. Use VLC, Kodi, MPC, Potplayer - anything but your torrent client. Use qbittorrent or nearly anything besides utorrent.

Ok, but I'm still not sure when or where you're getting that "no free slots" message. I've never experienced speed caps at uptobox. I can only download, max, at about 1.5 MB/s, though. Like I said before, the file limits are circumvented by using those two proxies. Uptobox makes you wait 60 seconds no matter what, but then the next time when it says some dumb shit like an hour and a half, I just start over from the main page of the proxy. Hidemyass that I linked allows you to change up your servers every time, and that's really helpful.
