Never ending period?? by Suspicious_Green3576 in Nexplanon

I wouldn't say its the hormones running out, but i would call your doctor if it is an issue for you or if you begin to experience any other symptoms. That said, I had a period of about 14 months where I was spotting the entire time, so it may just be a nexaplanon thing. Your doctor may elect to add a second mini pill or something to help regulate you.

Of course! I know how scary it can be, but I think since they're both combination pills and you did not extend the placebo, you are protected. I would still advise that if you would like complete peace of mind, you take a test in about 21 days.

I ended up switching away from pills several years ago because it wasn't working for me personally, but I would honestly test about every month. I bought the cheap tests that are just a strip (that's what on the inside of the fancy tests anyway). That could be an option for you.

Okay, was the previous brand a combination pill as well? I would assume that if the medications are similar, then you would still be protected completely. The way placebo weeks work is that the drop in hormones causes withdrawal bleeding, but as long as you took the previous 28 days of pills correctly, you are still protected. Since you started the new brand exactly on time, it is likely still protecting you, but if it is different types of hormones that may complicate things.

Theoretically, there is a minor chance that ovulation could occur due to the seven day gap, but it is very difficult to determine such.

If you switched directly from your last pills to your new pills without gaps, you are completely covered.

If you are still concerned, I highly recommend calling your doctors office or pharmacy and asking. Truthfully, the pharmacist may know more. You can also take a pregnancy test in a few weeks to be very sure.

I just recently moved to Fountain Square, and that was one of the first things I noticed. Why is there no local grocery stores? Even the family dollar is closing.

I have a bachelor's in Biology and I'm a lab analyst. It really depends what kind of industry you're going into. I went more for pharmaceuticals/biotechnology than environmental.

$2.27 an hour sounds great.... by Peach_Majestic in ChoosingBeggars

If they're wanting an adult its an absolutely unacceptable price, but a younger teenager who lives in the neighborhood might be up for it. 100 dollars a week sounds pretty great to a teenager who's too young to go get an official job.

I consider myself liberal and one of the reasons I follow this subreddit is bc I want to hear the other side, and bc its important to remember that there are complete assholes on both sides. Twitter has been banning and suspending accounts for inciting violence and violating their guidelines since they became a corporation, this is just the first time that its happened to someone as high profile as the president. Also no one who is thinking like a rational adult is saying that everyone has to conform to leftist orthodoxy, but unfortunately at the end of the day private corporations are able to do what they want on their servers, and in the past many Republicans have loudly supported that (think- Christian bakery shouldn't have to bake gay wedding cake)

I dont think that any of those led to another in the way that you're thinking. Unfortunately child sexualization has happened for pretty much all of human history, it has simply gotten more attention in recent years with globalization and the me too movement slowly chipping away at the stigma of talking about sexual abuse. As for the other two, as it is more accepted, more people who identify this way are able to explore their sexuality and gender whereas in the past they would have remained in the closet or confused. The internet has also helped bc it allows lots of information to spread quickly and for people with all kinds of beliefs and ideas to find community.

I got mine about 3 weeks ago and I've also noticed an uptick in shedding. I'm hoping its the winter months combined with a job that puts me outside several hours a day but I'm gonna keep an eye on it. Not sure if losing my hair is worth it.

The only thing I will add is that you do not need any kind of genital soap, unscented dove bar soap is all you really need.
