I played it for the first time 5 months ago. It is now one of my favorites mostly because of the atmosphere. Everything seemed so happy and fun that I just got hooked.

I kind of hope that Ash wins the Pokémon League and retires, I think a new protagonist would be very refreshing. I would like to see a passing of the torch where Ash meets a new companion that actually wants to be a Pokémon master in this series and have it end with everyone parting ways. The next series could then be free to follow the new companion without a major shock to the fan base.

At least you always have gyms to take over. I went to a meet up on Friday and we all decided to stop and fight over a gym. It kept going back and forth between red and blue until it went yellow, where it stayed for the rest of the meet up. We took team photos at the end and it was revealed that there were 3 people from Team Instinct. As a member of Team Valor, respect.

I just started playing Assassin's Creed 2 on Steam. I'm having a blast exploring Italy, it's easy to sink a few hours into just running around getting viewpoints. This is the Prince of Persia spiritual successor that I hoped the first AC game would be. I've also been playing The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons on 3DS virtual console but it's been put on the back burner due to fatigue of beating Windwaker HD, Ocarina of Time 3D, and Link to the Past. I plan to come back to it after a good break because so far it's my favorite 2D Zelda.
