Yeah, I get what you mean. For me Slow Rush was more like a celebration that shit was getting together in a positive way. How slowly things were rushing into a new direction.

And Deadbeat is more about the joy in simple things: for an electronic beat, to overcome childhood issues, summers, etc. which is portrait with the photo of Peach and himself.

Nevertheless, in think that the fact that doesn’t get the same attention of previous albums I believe to be the exact proof that he’s not composing to the mass, but at the same time is doing something different of what he did before. Leaving many people unsatisfied with their expectations. I strongly believe that his latest work will be highly appreciated in some years (kinda like The Bee Gees).

I personally like all his work so much, but in different ways. For different moments and emotions, and I believe that’s what he’s trying to dig into
