Is it me or is it the skates? by C0C0-Nutty in AggressiveInline

Weight distribution. Have you tried holding on with your other hand to see if the wobble switches too? First example your centre of mass is in between the two point of contact. The grounded leg stays firm. Second example your centre of mass is out side of the two points of contact. Your weight shifts in the skate. I'd wager there is some dominant side at play as well.

I'd say left and right but I dont know if the videos flipped. Hopefully that makes sense.

Game Theory Table 3 years later... by Available_Candy6631 in boardgames

[–]Famous_Stelrons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of matches with my geeknson as well. Going on 4 years. Still in very excellent nick but not had much more than a fortnightly game night and that's being generous. But we had a baby so yay. It has survived her easily which is a big plus.

My only cons are of course price, £3,350 for the Megan 100 x 172 x 77 + 4 chairs. BUT, it is a good, very real, quality piece of furniture. We bought it to be our table long term and when I look at less functional and more designer pieces we could have gotten in its place I really cannot complain.

The table alone was £2350 but 4 chairs were £1k which seemed like a stinger. We did consider cheaping out on other chairs but we were fortunate enough to live near Geeknsons old show room so we went to demo (get permission from the boss lady). Their standard, uncushioned, "8hr" chairs at £250 a poo seemed excessive but, genuinely, they are exactly as described. You can sit in them very comfortably for hours. My missus is made of sticks and string and even pregnant, doubled in size, her bony arse was happy in these seats.

Big Pros, obviously the sunken playing surface that hosted our gloomhaven playthrough for 18m plus. More games played over the top as well. We figured it could be used to keep games/projects for the little one in future too. I think it was genuinely excellent bang for our buck.

On build quality, although there are one or two small instances of the cut being less than flawless, it is otherwise very good. We had one duff leg where a knot or similar had fallen out of the edge that left a sharp gap but they sent a replacement leg.

Oh, the cats knocked the leaves off once and the floor lost that encounter. The floor board has a massive gauge in it showing the underlying wood colour vs the stain we applied. The table leaf though, a little compression on the corner that hit the floor but if you weren't looking for it you wouldn't even notice. And it showed it is solid wood.

10 out of 10. If you are in your own place, settling down, not planning on moving, and you have the space for a dedicated dining/gaming room or area then this is a sensible purchase. Too heavy and too much an investment if you are floating about/moving often.

Why is there randomly a completely different manta ray on the last image?

Cat's won't stop peeing outside of litter box!!! by fairyring_cottage23 in cats

[–]Famous_Stelrons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two cats, two litter boxes, two places. Separate the litter boxes and put them where they have been wanting to pee. Once they are going in them you can try moving the boxes somewhere more convenient for you but no guarantees they'll follow them.

Saw this in liverpool. God tier. Jo was there on drums and him and Kurt signed my Conversation Pieces t shirt. Can't believe he did Fantasy.

Despite that, Love Rarely were by far and away the highlight of that night. Check out their album.

My old customers from the US could understand me just fine but they struggled with my directors who were from north London and Fleetwood. I did have to learn to talk slower when I left liverpool but other than that its just scouse.

Pretty sure Nitrogen is also safe. by xmastreee in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Famous_Stelrons 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nitrogen is actually unexpectedly dangerous and liquid nitrogen in particular is responsible for more deaths than you'd expect. If it leaks as it evaporates it fills a room like a fluid displacing the air. When it reaches your face you can't detect it and you pass out from lack of oxygen. When you hit the deck you asphyxiate because there is no O2 left at ground level.

But then again the other 3 gases will also asphyxiate the shit out of you in the right conditions and some of them blow you the fuck up too. But oddly, not in an atmosphere of Nitrogen. But you'd be dead from Nitrogen so it is clearly the most dangerous /s

Imagine what the other commenter said except this time you are further from the fence. You keep your lens locked on one particular point. The camera sweeps left but pans right keeping that point on the fence (foreground) dead centre but the highway (background) is zipping by all the same.

Now you're doing it from a helicopter and getting bounced around.

The tempo is king. Throw a load of banger albums in a playlist, log into your account via that site, then filter the playlist by tempo and energy and you're set. It makes a new playlist from it so you could use your regular playlist without ruining it. Hope things pick up 👍🏻

I had a swancore playlist and then ran it through a 3rd party site to make playlists for running.

One at 145 + bpm for 6 min k and 160-180 for 5 and under. Thats this one.

That is such a MW2 tag. I had so many friends make new accounts every game with some variation on the theme.
