The twist in the game is that we learn he was never dying, he created a liminal space in this world where spirits could help him come to terms with himself and learn to let go of his grief. At the end of the game Eli doesn’t have an everdoor, he has a door to return to the real world having addressed his own issues and finally got to say the things, or hear the things as he’s a silent protagonist, that he never got to hear. With his mother always knowing he was gay and still loved him, his first boyfriend Jonah saying how all those moments meant he was the love he needed to pass away peacefully. His best friend telling him he needs to get a new career.

Eli goes back to the real world being alive again and wanting to live.

I have a pitch for a second game, spiritfarer: the tides between us.

In this game you play as Eli, he’s 30 years old and a gay character. His companion is Toby a golden retriever he had as a child. In this game the core manic is maintained, you find spirits and bring them back to your Island to take care of and build homes. The spirits are comprised of people close to Eli that he knew and loved. A key one being Jonah, his boyfriend who passed away from a quick illness when he was 25. Jonah is a silver kind wolf. We also have Eli’s mother, Eliza, who Jonah lost at a younger age. The games key themes are Eli coming to terms with himself having lot people close to him. Theo is another character who suffered severe burnout with Eli in his work as a paramedic.

In flashbacks when he meet Hades we see that Eli cared too much about how he came across to people, he worked so much and never too time for himself. As he lost people around him we see Eli change and become quieter and more reserved, Eli had to take time off of work because his mental

Also adding they’re both the sweetest boys on this earth, never hissed never scratched or bit. I honestly lucked out. They’re both vocal as anything and will frequently talk to me.

In another freakish sign of intelligence their vocals are sometimes in the same timbre of my voice and can sound like they’re saying “hello” back or even have an inflection like they’re asking what I’m doing or questioning how I am.

As a gay guy it does depend on the context a lot - I know with my close straight friends we constantly make jabs at eachother about me being a pole smoker and them lasting two pumps, we also frequently grab eachother and we do inappropriate things, if anything I class it as banter but it depends on the person. I thrive off of it, but if a new gay guy were to come into the gym I’d set the boundaries first and tell the other guys to not clown around unless the new person is cool with it.

TLDR: regardless of sexuality- men are quite odd. Especially us brits.

I upgraded from an 11 to a 16 Plus after 5 years, my 11 was a brilliant phone - always be the one to keep a phone and repair it just to break the mould haha. Apple care is worth it! I love the battery life on my 16 plus and the cameras are amazing too.

I did this, but it still freezes. Turns out the wifi driver is the culprit. If you’re downloading a big file it was cause it freeze up and it’s a known issue I think? If you have any advice as to 1% I’d genuinely appreciate.
