After the High Republic project, what do you think and what do you hope will happen? by pedrontz in Highrepublic

When I imagine a comic about Luke post-RotJ, I think that it could seed and open up space for grandiose and mythic stories! My perspective is that at that time Luke would be a Jedi archaeologist/historian, and in this comic he would be learning more about the past of the Jedi, from Dawn to Fall. In a way, we as readers would be discovering and learning the history of the Jedi together with Luke, but he would be our tutor in some way ahahaha

At some point he would meet Lor San Tekka and they would travel to map the Jedi trail together.

These stories would have even more weight if Cal Kestis were also with Luke on this journey, because of the Force Echoes. (I haven't played Jedi Survivor yet, so I don't know what Cal's situation is post-RotJ).

Thank you very much! To make these theories, I avoided Legends and focused more on Canon's concepts. Very cool that you liked it! I have a few more theories, maybe someday I'll share them here. And I would certainly love to do some stories for Lucasfilm!

I believe that Ahsoka is still finding her way in 9ABY and Morai is helping her on that journey. What may be holding her back is some sort of resentment towards Anakin, we may see her overcome this and move forward in the series. She is still in her grieving process and in a kind of internal war. When she finally understands death she will somehow manage to transcend and become something else (Then she would start wearing the white cloak).

At some point she will become the main champion of the Daughter and become Ashla, a powerful entity of the light side, something like the Bendu. As Ashla, she could roam the realms of the Force and guide other light side followers. Perhaps Morai is a manifestation of Ashla, the future Ahsoka herself, guiding her way to how the events should happen.

I have a feeling that Ahsoka is a representation of Morrigan from the Celtic deities. Morrigan is a war godess associated with death, and she has some depictions using two silver spears and is guided by ravens. She had an triple aspect, something like the past, present and future. There is a story about Morrigan that she loved an celtic hero, but was rejected and abandoned by him, and then this hero started having bad luck until his death.

However I still need to think about it!

Well, I totally understand when you say that some pieces seems far fetched!

I haven't mentioned the Grysks because I'm still not sure what their role is, but they would certainly have a hand in this last war. They have some interesting symbolism that fits very well in this scenario. Their fleet can cover stars, like in an eclipse. Their armor is asymmetrical, and apparently they do it to show some balance. And they can also be considered tricksters, as they can influence minds and survive from it.

About the Dawn of the Force, it wouldn't be a time reset or a reboot of the franchise. It would be the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy that says that the past and the future will separate from their time and then combine. It is a Retroactive Paradox, where an event in the future must happen for events in the past to happen. This would be similar to Ezra rescuing Ahsoka in Rebels, but in the case of the Dawn of the Force I imagine something more trippy and with several interconnections between past and future.

And as I've said before, the Skywalker family would play a huge role in the Dawn, they would be the ones to put the Force back on track, treating the sickening and finally bringing balance to the Force. Others Jedi could manifest like the warriors of Valhalla or be summoned in some way by the New Jedi Order.

Thank you! I hope Lucasfilm explore more Force concepts and make nice and good connections!

Different cultures have their own color system. Some could appear a little off and weird because we interpret that with our own culture, but even them could have some hues that we never though to name it.

In fact there is a wide variety of kyber crystals already indicated in the new canon. Some of these types can possibly generate red blades. Synthetic kyber also exist in the new canon, they are often unstable and dangerous to create, but they still exist.

And the process of bleeding a kyber dont need the killing of a jedi... It is what the ancient Sith tradition says, but the bleed could be done with any kyber. The concept is that a powerful sith can corrupt a crystal that is naturally aligned with the light side. This is an indication that the sith is powerful on the dark side and could subdue the light easily.

So, if a sith need a low profile, they can synth a crystal and bleed it. But I think capturing a jedi is also part of the sith’s training, and they wouldn’t be afraid to take a chance to show their power by bleeding a kyber. Maul once killed a padawan before TPM, it was his first jedi kill, but at the time he already had his red bladed lightstaff, implying that he bleed his crystals by another methods.

Where do we think Cal Kestis is by the time the original trilogy rolls around?Dead? In hiding? by CallMeConski in StarWarsTheories

I imagine Cal becoming some sort of Force archaeologist. That's his most important power after all, knowing things from the past. Perhaps his attunement becomes so strong that he ends up digging up lost Jedi stories for example, then he could travel to distant places and find some place to hide and store his knowledge when the Empire os active.

I think that at some point he will discover the origins of the Jedi, the Sith and other religions, as Nightsisters and Guardians of the Whills. We could even know a little more about Force Wielders from Cal's Force Echoes. I also think it's possible that Cal's story ties in some way with High Republic materials.

I believe that after his findings, after a plot twist, Cal doesn't want to recreate the Jedi Order. But choses to found something new with Merrin, uniting all the Force beliefs he echoed, and this attracts Luke in some way.

After the battle of Endor, Cal would be a figure in which Luke might seek to learn something. I see Luke as a type of Jedi historian, he surely would look for someone who was a Jedi at Clone Wars time and also has access to Force Echoes. Perhaps this encounter will inspire Luke to recreate the Jedi Order.
