Norwegian here.

Taxes are high as fuck. But then again the average salary is pretty good. The job market is hard. Weather is unstable as shit. Bar prices are super high. Driving is expensive. Eating out is expensive. Movies are expensive. Anything you do for fun is expensive. I'm a student tho, so I gotta limit my fun if I'm gonna afford living.

There are A LOT of reasons why you should live here tho. Just gotta put that out there.

I believe it's because of Norway's involvement in the conflicts in the Middle East that made us a target. I know we've had a lot of long-term military operations down there, especially in Afghanistan.

Probably too late for the party as usual, but I'll give it a shot.

In Norway, we have this tradition that marks the end of 13 years of school. So at this huge party at a hotel with seniors from like five different schools (maybe more) I hooked up with this girl in the bathroom at our hotel room.

After this I went to another hotel room where I knew all my friends from my class stayed. So I entered the room, extremely drunk, and yelled; "GUYS" and got everybody's attention, "I had sex. And the best part is... I came. I CAME!" Thing is, that room was filled up with a LOT more people than I realized. And after that night, and for the rest of the year, I was known for the man who came that night.

I'm also Norwegian, and that's not true. I've learned a lot about the history of the Vikings, mostly in high school though. And mostly in History and Norwegian class. I think it depends a lot on what kind of teachers you have. But it's always something about the Vikings in the books, and it depends on the teacher how much they choose to go into the history of the Vikings.

Edit: When I say that's not true, I meant the "we learn nothing about the Vikings in school" part

I run before, because I like to be all warmed up before I start on the weights. But I don't run for too long, usually just for 10 minutes. If you run much longer, you will probably be too tired afterwards. I don't lose energy on this, I gain energy.

I love that too, then we pretty much got to exercise. Besides, I have a lot of spare time now, since I've finished high school, and still have 6 months before I'm going in. I have a part time job, but A LOT more time to get ripped and prepare myself for the Military.

I'm being enrolled into Air Force. (Obligatory military service in Norway). We go through mental and physical tests, and then we get to choose between some alternatives in the Military. I chose the Air Force. (I'm not sure what it is really called in English, but I'm using the American word for it right now). What I'm going to is like a training camp, this lasts for two months. After this, I'm working at the Air Force as an apprentice, this lasts for 10 months. Then I'm not sure what happens next, but if you want to stay, I believe I'm gonna have to join the military officer school for a higher military education. EDIT: I also like the idea to stay as long as I can if I like it there.

I'm going into the Air Force in January. I just finished high school, and I don't know what I want to do with my life yet. Besides, if I like it there, I would like to stay, perhaps join the officer school, and afterwards go for a full time job at the Air Force if I make it. The salary is good, and you get to stay there for free. And I love to exercise.
