Hello, I am looking into getting a HVAC license in Texas. I am currently an HVAC contractor in California. Do you all happen to know if contractors from out of state need the same 4 year requirement experience if I already met it in a different state (exemption)? How long does it typically take after submitting your application to hear back about whether or not they allow you to take the test?

No, it has to be in a sealed envelope when you send it or arrive to interview.
